Overall, things were great. We liked the building, but not the unit so much. Yes, it was clean, but it needs some attention. Just so you know, there are a couple of MINOR plumbing issues that should be looked at, or they may get worse. The Master toilet gurgles a bit, and the kitchen faucet also runs if the handle is on center.
I would say ... it's the mirrors everywhere. Some are OK, but there are too many mirrored walls. Also, the pantry should be cleared out (pots and pans in there ...), so that food can be stored in there. We left things alone, and put our food on the counter.
All these things are not the end of the world, and it's somewhat nit-picking, but as long as there's a forum here, why not tell you.
Finally (and I'm not a tree-hugger), someone in the Destin area needs to address the recycling of cans, bottles, paper, plastics, etc. Are you kidding me? No recycling, unless you take it 20 miles down the road? Most communities have worked with the waste companies to have them sort the recyclables and make money off that. We (in Geneva) have two cans - one for garbage and one for all things recycled. The waste company separates the recycle materials. The sell the paper by the pound, the cans, the aluminum the plastic, etc. all by the pound. I pay virtually nothing for them to pick it up.
If you would like to call me about anything in this, please feel free. Thanks for a great place to be during break.

Beautiful beach view. The Jade East complex was well maintained and clean and the location was great. The unit (#430) was nasty. The tile floors were gross with coal black mold and dirty grout. The master bath shower doors were not connected at the bottom which was very unsafe, plus the entire bathroom was filthy with mildew and built up scum. Half the light bulbs were burned out and there was a dead battery in one smoke alarm causung it to cherp. The unit also needed other maintenance and upgrades - wallpaper in every room peeling, the master bed mattress and pillows were pathetic, sheets other bedding did not fit. All of the area rugs were filthy. This unit has not received a decent cleaning in a long time - ridiculous! I will never use Best Beach Getaways again.

We had a great vacation while staying in this condo. Plenty of good places to eat nearby. You can see both ways down the beach from the balconey and its very easy to get to the beach. We stayed in this condo 2yrs in a row and plan on staying again next year.

We've stayed at this very condo about 5 years ago. It definitely needs some TLC specific to condition of wallpaper but all else was spot on! Well managed property

The unit needs some general updating, tv's(had to let it warm up before watching)patio/furniture were dirty,i didn't want to sit my coffee cup on the patio table, master shower may have been clean but appeared dingy due rust and mildew around tiles. long codes to enter were also a problem to remember (gate,door,beach...) all different.

THe livingroom furniture is terrible. Some of the chairs are actually dangerous to sit in. The TV's are all outdated. THe area rugs in both the dininga rea and the living room are so cheap they pill and require vaccuming almost every day.
