Let me tell you about this beach beauty at Sterling Shores. First let me give you the “411” on Sterling Shores. This is open outstanding Destin vacation rental. When they call a pool a lagoon pool that means “BIG” and this one’s big and a half. It’s 4,300 square feet but that’s only the beginning. They’ve put all kinds of lush tropical plants and trees around the pool. There’s even a kids’ pool right there.

But that’s only the start, look beyond the pool and you see what you came for in the first place. Gorgeous white sand beach that looks like sugar and emerald green waters that go on as far as the eye can see. If... it’s me, I start my day on that beach. Get up in the morning go for a walk, have breakfast, come back and get my beach stuff and claim my spot. After lunch, I head to the pool and enjoy the lounge chair with a good book. If I get thirsty (or a little hungry) there’s a snack bar right there at the pool.

The great thing about Sterling Shores beach condominium is that there’s a lot more then just the beach and the pool. There’s a fully equipped fitness room, a movie theater, DVD rentals, a Gas Barbecue grill by the pool, kid’s activities, and a whole lot more.

On top of all that you’re really close to everything. For example, you’re right next store to the Back Porch restaurant, Destin’s most popular restaurant. It’s got great food and fun atmosphere. You can hop on over for a bite to each or a tall cold one right from the beach.

This place has got it going on right from the time you walk in the door. The entry’s big enough to park your beach toys, flip-flops and golf clubs. And the place is decorated really nicely. I’ve put some pictures in here so you can see. Just look at the dining area. Big table if you want to eat in. (with all the great restaurants you probably won’t) The living area’s really comfortable, too. Look at that entertainment center! It’s got a big TV, with a DVD you can watch your favorite movies if you’re kinda beached out. Or you can surf the internet because we’ve got high speed all over the place here.

The floor to ceiling sliders open out to the balcony. Step out there and you’re not gonna want to come back in. I took a couple of pictures of the pool and the beach. Really something.

The MASTER BEDROOM’s got this great big king size bed. It’s a four poster and it’s a beauty. Plus there’s a private bath with a garden tub that’s all yours. The decor is really toned down so that you can relax in this room. It’s got plenty of closet space for all your stuff. You get the full cable package on the TV just like in the living room. You can even surf the web from here.

The 2ND BEDROOM is a kid-friendly suite with comfortable twin beds and enough area for the kids to get lost for awhile.

The KITCHEN has plenty of room to fix your meals and a diner bar so that you can grab a quick bite without messing up the Dining table.

The DINING AREA’s got a nice big table so you can enjoy meals together when you’re not lying on your favorite pool chair down by the pool.

The LAUNDRY area is located to make keeping everyone in clean clothes a breeze.

This place will sleep 6 comfortably. It’s a good size for good size family.

  Was not pleased with the furnishings and cleanliness of the unit. Was misrepresented by pictures online. Place was dirty and when we called to report it to Best Beach Getaways, from whom we rented the condo from, they did not seem to care. We asked to change to a different unit but was told no. The manager never returned our call. We will never stay here again!

  Sterling Shores is a beautiful complex and loved the pool. My dissatisfaction is with Best Beach Getaways and the housekeeping. The housekeeping problems were to many to list but I was very unhappy that after 3 calls to BBG that I didn't receive a return call. Granted these call were after we left but I felt they should have been more concerned about the problems.

  We always enjoy staying at these condos. We have stayed in several different units, and have been pleased with them. The staff is always very friendly. It has a fantastic pool located on site, plus a pool and bar across the road at the beach. Food and drinks can be charged to your room at the bar, so you don't have to carry cash with you. Easy walking distance to the Back Porch, Candymaker, Ruth's Chris, and the Track amusement Park.

  We had a wonderful stay at Sterling Resort in Destin. Located right across the street from the beach - all rooms have a beach view. Perfect location and great resort. Will definitely be back!

  I would not recommend staying in this unit compared to my previous stays. The plumbing was very noisy as well as hearing the neighboring apartments. Literally the plumbing would wake you up at night when some other apartment used theirs. The on site staff did not keep up the properties as well as it has in the past either. Other than that the stay was okay.

  We stayed in this unit last year and liked it so much we booked it again this year. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to book the same unit next summer. The location is convenient to just about everything Destin has to offer. The pool at Sterling Shores is beautiful and the grounds are well kept. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Great trip!

  This was our first Destin vacation and first condo visit! We were VERY PLEASED with the condo, location, cleanliness, pools, everything! I highly recommend this rental, it was very clean, convenient, and the water pressure was great! :) The only thing I would change would be to have a chest of drawers or dresser in the twin bed room. Otherwise, everything was wonderful! A+++++ rental!
