We have been to Silver Beach Towers several times in the past. The interior furniture and balcony furniture looked second hand at best. The garbage disposal sounded like it was going to take off. The dryer would not dry our close.

First of all, the young lady that checked us in was very helpful! The condo, W702 was nicely furnished, Tv's small, great view of the gulf.They don't have enough luggage carts to accommodate everyone thats checking in at about the same time. The pool area was large and had plenty of chairs. My family has been coming to the panhandle since
1984, obviously we love the area. Unfortunately the young men, particularly the one in charge, of the beach chairs...were unfriendly, stern and not accommodating for a family with a young baby...even with gratuity exchanged... they seemed more interested in placing our family the farthest distance on the row of chairs. We basically opted to use the pool area...out of frustration. You couldn't even get your beach chairs until after 8:00 and out of by 5:00. Too bad, loved the unit, but won't stay there again.

Never had so much fun in my whole da** life - I will be back same time next year but I will need a larger condo because all of my girlfriends tell me that when I go back they will be going with me! The whole entire week was easy, breezy, cheesey Cover Girl! I loved every minute of it!

The room needs new carpet and bedding. Excellent hotel, the room just needs updating. The carpet leaves your feet or socks black if you do not have on shoes. Tile may work better in a condo or shampoo the carpet.

The unit needs to be a little updated. The couch was dirty and the comforter covers and pillow covers were dirty as well. Need to keep that stuff washed!! Would not pick this unit again. I like the building and pool. Beach service was great. And nice to have a parking spot.

We were very disappointed that Compass Resorts was not helpful in working with us on our emergency departure from 702W Silver Beach. The condo was average, but there was an undesireable smell in the hallway that was overwhelming. Management was not willing to contact the owner to see if we could obtain a credit for the current days we could use due to a death in our family. Simply put, they said it would be inappropriate & that we should have purchased travel insurance. Business as usual for them with no empathy for the customer in a crisis while at their office. In addtion, I had to call four times afterwards just to get an answer with regard to the credit.

Check in was pleasant.
We liked the condo in terms of it's decor and of course it was located gulf front. Great location in relation to everything.
It was a wonderful view and the weather was great.
Two things that need to be remedied. The guest bathroom commode does not flush properly and the mattresses in both bedrooms need replaced. Two of the four in our party suffered a sore back and a sore hip. -

With some of Destin beaches eroding away for the past few years, it was time to give a different resort a try. Silver Beach Towers is located in a nice area with adequate footage of beach sand. The view and balconies off the two bedrooms are great. Although, the beach service is somewhat inconvenient only allowing the chair/umbrella set up per day and not by the week. Amenities including grills were clean and pool is spacious. The lobby and grounds were very well maintained, picturesque and comfortable. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the unit was disappointing and undesirable. Overall, this is a great resort.

The unit was quite nice with plenty of room for 3 adults and 1 toddler. On arrival we discovered the coffee maker had a missing carafe, called Compass and they had a new coffee maker delivered that afternoon. Silver Beach Towers is a wonderful resort.
