  I'd like to know who i can speak with to give specifics about the mess we found this condo in when we arrived? The property is in a beautiful location but was extremely dirty. We spent hours cleaning the cabinets, all of the chairs and bar stools had food on them, the base molding below the bar stools was covered in grime. The carpets need to be thrown out! every room is horribly dirty and spotted! all of the glass windows were fingerprinted ad filthy! we would like a refund for the amount of time spent cleaning just to make this unit livable. Call me at asap.

  Most UNCOMFORTABLE worn Beds!! Toilet in guest bedroom-broken.Upon arrival-terrible smell- rotting fish residue in garbage disposal.Screens from deck - off and laying on deck.Mold in master bathroom shower. Not enough linens,blankets and dishes!!! These are just the major items !!!

  Pool ice cold!

  My stay was very good except the pool was very cold. We were there one week and I did not get in the pool at all because it was way too cold. This place would have been perfect if the pool would have been heated. If I would have known the pool was cold I definitely would have stayed somewhere else, it's okay to not heat an outdoor pool in July because its hot enough outside to keep it warm but the pool should definitely be heated in October at least for fall break. We will definitely be going somewhere else for fall break next year. Somewhere with a heated pool!

  The complex was very nice, the beaches were amazing. I would definitely visit Destin again. Finding the location to pick up the keys and beinng that it was closed was difficult. There was used soap in the showers and the beds were uncomfortable. The building and elevators were confusing. We went into several elevators w/ luggage trying to find where our room was and entered through lobby not finding luggage carts for luggage plus our groceries. The signs by elevators were not labeled with our floor which was confusing, we later discovered the carts were in the garage which was too late. We eventually found our elevator and then had no further issues with that. The beds were very uncomfortable. The view was amazing and would stay again but bathrooms were also not very clean. We were also unsure as to if linens on bed and towels were supposed to stay in room or go down linen chute so we left them in the room.

  Overall we are very satisfied with our stay, perfect location, beautiful view of ocean, nice and safe condominium, perfect for family with kids of all ages. Two things that I want to point out to owners: more pillows and blankets will be appreciated, also more silverware and plates will be nice to have. Otherwise beautiful condo for a good price. Thank you

  A few key flaws

  First, the positive aspects of our stay - The condo was very nice. The amenities are very nice. There is plenty to do in the area around the condo. As for the negatives, there were a few glaring issues. When we arrived Saturday night, we settled in to our rooms. My young son's room had an open condom wrapper on the bedside table. In the master bedroom, the television did not power on (via remote and tv console). Walking into the master bath, my wife cut her foot on a carpet tack directly in front of the bathroom door. These issues aren't deal breakers, but when I called the next morning to Best Beach Getaways (the broker we booked with) to note the above issues, nothing was done the rest of the week. Additionally, to get up the elevator to the room, a key is needed. Without this, the elevator does not operate. This is great for security. Unfortunately, with a large group and only a few keys, you have to constantly be aware of who has a key which determines if you can leave the room or not (that is if you want to get back on the elevator and in the room).
  As for the beach, it is a nice beach, but nothing compared Siesta Key (near Sarasota). There was a thick, spinach-like seaweed the entire week from the water/sand line to 200 yards into the Gulf. Bad luck timing perhaps.

  The Condo was very...

  The Condo was very nice. The only critism that I have is that the condo was not clean. It looked like it had not been dusted or vacuumed and the bathroom showers were not clean. The balcony had a lot of sand on the floor and had obviously not been swept. You need to check on the cleaning crew. Otherwise, it was nice.
