Nice condo, but for the money , desperately needs updating by an interior designe. No sound system, tv's small screens in living area and bedrooms, very disappointing.

Unit was more impressive in person - very clean and tastefully decorated. And being on the 2nd floor provided easy access to pool, beach and vehicles.

It was very noisy, people staying up late at the pool. The condo needs room darking drapes. We were not able to sleep past 6:00 am as the light was coming in way too early. The beds did not have good linens and were not comfortable. The condo was clean and the furnishings were adquate. The dishwasher/washer/dryer need to be replaced as they are outdated and noisy. The remote in the room with two twin beds did not have a back. It would be good to have advertisements/coupons etc at Silver Beach Towers as we had to go looking for what there was to do during the week we were there. Finally found every thing at Captain Daves. I did not like all the extra charges now that Silver Beach is managed by Compass, for this reason, we decided that we will not go back to Silver Beach and see what other options there are, possibly renting Vrbo

We enjoyed our stay in 202W. The condo was beautifully decorated and newly painted. A big plus was that all bedrooms along with the living room were gulfside with floor to ceiling windows and doors.
We rented from Feb. 1st until Mar. 17th. The pool was heated beginning Mar. 1st. The hot-tub was heated throughout. We had been in the Destin area last year and walked through one of the Silver Beach Towers condos at that time. The location and design of these condos can't be beat. We had two balconies in 202W on the gulfside, one off the living room and one that bordered so all the bedrooms could access that balcony.
The condo has a phone but we were unable to use it as we could not obtain an outside line for our long-distance credit card. There was no one in the lobby until the last week of our stay. We could however get in touch with Compass Resorts by going to their office. We also purchased a trac phone so we could contact others.
Like I said the condo was very nice, I would only say that the rug and furniture in the living room could use a shampoo. Also a seal in one of the big windows in the living room is broken and it's right in the middle of your view. One of the door screens had holes and some screens were bulging and pulling out at the edges. We were used to renting on a higher floor and so we didn't have those incredible sunset views. (On the plus side of that was easy entry to the pool and beach area.)
We would like to thank the owners and Conpass Resorts for being able to rent at the late date before our stay. We were booked into another condo in the East Unit and 3 weeks before our stay we were cancelled because the unit was sold. Compass helped us find this one unit which was left in the whole complex for 'snowbird rentals'. We appreciate their help.
This is an incredible condo to rent. We hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we did. Janet Hughes

We had a great time and were very pleased with the condo. Very large and nice. We had 8 people and took a couple of camping cots for our 2 youngest (3 & 5). The sofa bed is like most sofa beds and not comfortable. Luckily, no one had to sleep on it. Also, we planned to put our 2 16 year old boys in the room with twin beds but the beds were too short for them. They ended up sleeping on the Qn bed and the 14 yr old girls slept on the twin beds. Nothing we couldn't work around, just things to be aware of. We had a great time and would stay there again. It was beautiful.

We definately enjoyed our stay at silver beach towers, however, there needed to be some updating of carpet and fresh paint to justify the price.

I loved the carpet in the unit, but it needs to be cleaned.
The sheets were not put on the twin beds, left under the comforter, but not put on.
We loved the easy access to the upstairs parking lot. While the view is not as good on the 2nd floor (seeing down the beach) it was worth it because we didn't have to spend time waiting on elevators and could get to beach easily.
Master bathroom and bedroom were awesome. Very roomy unit overall. -
