This adorable gulf view unit offers everything you need to feel right at home while you’re on vacation, starting with the king bedroom/ full bath suite complete with your own TV. Resort offered children's activities daily. They were a big hit with our family. The only downside was the crowded beach. You had to get up before daylight to get a good spot it seemed. All front row spots were already filled with rental chairs and umbrellas. People didn't seem to care that we made our spot right next them or even in front if them though. Probably since we had a small child. They have good quality, clean grills on site which made dinner more relaxing than worrying about going out to eat every evening.

The facility was pretty on the outside. The beach was beautiful. The unit was clean; however, the sofa needs to be replaced. It sank down in the middle when you sat on it and it was very uncomfortable. I had to get spare blankets and pillows to put under the sofa cushions so that is was somewhat confortable. Also, the linens were a bit tired as well. On the upside, our package included golf every day at two nice courses so my husband really enjoyed that. Check-in was easy since we went straight to the unit with the door code. Destin has some great restaurants such as Dewey Destins, The Front Porch, Harbor Dock and Fisherman's Wharf.

We had booked this property for 5 days in October when the weather and water were absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately after only being there for 36 hours or so, we had to pack up and leave for a medical emergency. Our college student, who was supposed to join us on vacation, ended up in the hospital with a very bad case of a Roto-virus and we had to take care of him. I called Have Travel Memories to let them know of our circumstance, and let them know we had to check out early. I wish we could have a "re-do":) As far as the property is concerned, We loved the view and the convenience of the resort's location. We also liked the free Track attractions. We might have taken advantage of other offers had we been able to stay longer. Love being right on the beach, but the chair service makes it very difficult to get to the water if you have your own. The resort and the condo are beginning to show their age, and we prefer to have the master away from main hallway.(noise issue). In all, we enjoyed our 36 hours of beach life!

The entire facility was very clean. Elevators worked amazingly fast! Cute little deli style cafe on site with tasty sandwiches/pizza. Pools were clean but small. In the early afternoon the pool is already shaded, but they do have a sundeck a few steps from the pool. Beach is lovely, but very crowded in front of the condo. Umbrellas and people right on top of each other, hard to make your way through to the water. Parking is a plus, no real bad spots.

We had a great experience in this condo. Everything was very clean. We had plenty of towels, kitchen supplies etc. We were pleasantly surprised that there were also beach chairs and an umbrella available for our use. Pictures didn't do justice for how the condo looked inside. It's right on the beach. I can honestly say we didn't have any complaints. Would definitely rent from this owner again. I feel like from when first inquiring about the property until we checked out it was a very smooth process.

407 Pelican Beach is conveniently located in the middle of everything. The property is well maintained and better than the online pictures. Loved the oceanfront view from the balcony.
