We arrived Christmas Day for a 5 night stay. The condo is tastefully decorated and was a great place for our 2 college sons and my husband and I. The beds are very comfortable and the master bath is very nice with 2 sinks, jetted tub and separate shower. The kitchen was well stocked. This condo has lots of closet space and offers plenty of storage space. The shower head in the master bath fell apart on the first use so I called the management company and it was repaired that afternoon with a new part on order. It was not replaced during our stay but the backup worked fine. The only other glitch we had was picking up the keys to our unit. It was late on Christmas Day and we weren't sure of the code to open the outside box to get our key fob. After 2 frantic calls to Compass Resorts and no returned call from them, one of our sons found the code on an email I received. After that all was well. We would stay here again, but not sure if it would be during the peak of summer.

The service we receive d at Compass Resorts was the best!! The condo was exactly as pictured, even better when we arrived! Absolutley beautiful condo, the view was magnificent. We will return to this unit again!

The condo was beautifully decorated with gorgeous views and plenty of space for five adults and 2 children. Comfortable mattresses with new bedding. Excellent location. Compass Resort answered all of my questions and was very easy to deal with. We will definitely stay at St. Lucia 1001 again.

We had a wonderful vacation in Destin, staying a week at the Silver Shells, St Lucia condo. The unit itself was beautifully decorated, the property had great amenities and beautiful pools.
The only negative I can report on the entire experience was that Silver Shells also owns a large section of beach just beyond the main swimming pool. They charge $45/day to "rent" you two beach chairs and an umbrella(which to me is clearly gouging the tourists). We, of course, brought our own and were rudely informed by one of the beach attendants that we were not allowed to use it and that we could walk several hundred yards down to the state park to set it up or we had to take it down. I would recommend the owner of the unit (or Compass Resorts) pay whatever annual fee there is from the homeowners' association to allow renters to use this. We paid peak season rates for our our rental and then to be told it would be another $300 or so for the week for the use of an umrella and chairs - that was ridiculuous!
