Nantucket Rainbow Cottages is a charming, seaside community with 20 colorful cottages in the quaint neighborhood of Crystal Beach in Destin, FL. Crystal Beach is known for its beautiful, less-congested beach, great walking/biking and pastel colored homes.
All of the cottages of Nantucket surround the seasonally heated swimming pool and sundeck. Lush, tropical landscaping abounds and each of the stand-alone buildings contain 2 units; one upstairs and one down.
You'll be right across the street from the beach, a short 100-yard stroll puts you right in the warm, blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

We enjoyed this location. Needed a few small items to make it a 5-star, like beach chairs and instructions on how to run the DVD. I did miss my dishwasher! Very quiet when we were there, easy to park, close walk to the beach, although the water and sand cannot be seen from this unit. Needed a bit of updating in the bath, a bit rusty around the edges. All in all, a good value.

The family (4) went down for spring break 2013 and had a blast. The cottage was very nicely furnished and clean. My wife loved the living room sliding doors that opened almost the entire wall. We had 2 13\14yr old girls with us and they loved walking to the beach that was 100yd or so away, very short walk. The restaurants were a shot drive down the strip.
We rented mopeds and a moped car one day for cruising around which was also a blast.
The free wifi held up well to the nightly Netflix streaming. Overall we loved the place and will definitely be coming back to stay in the same cottage.
Check in was a easy too. I reserved the room online then got an email the week before our trip with the door code. So there was no hassle getting in and no one to deal with.

We really enjoyed to location and the cottage was just right! My wife would have liked to have a broom to sweep up the sand we brought back from the beach, but it was great!!! I would love to stay again next year!! The path was perfect for our kids to go running - we will look into renting bicycles next time. We really enjoyed it!!
When we tried to check in the code was not correct, so we called the number on the email and we were given a different code. Everything was smooth sailing after that! -

I took my daughter and 2 friends to the beach for spring break. We loved this cottage and it was a great location for a quick getaway. I would definately recommend staying here. We hope to make it back soon.
