We enjoed our stay at Crystal Dunes #103. The condo was all that anyone could ask for. The view was fantastic, the condo was clean and the staff was very helpful. We will use this one from now on..

The back door was extremely hard to open and we called every day to get someone to fix it, but no one came. I also noticed that since we stayed there last, in 2007 or 2008, not much updating was done to this unit. There weren't enough pots & pans or cooking & baking utensils. Also, the mattresses need to be changed.

I have always felt comfortable and "at home" in this unit. The location on Scenic Hwy. 98 off the busy Hwy. 98 yet near so many restaurants, stores, grocery stores, cinemas makes it especially convenient without having to travel far for most needs/interests. The management is quick to send someone to repair anything such as an appliance that goes awry. They are very personable and eager to please. What I like best are the congenial people who stay there, the location, walking the beach and neighborhood, being right on the Gulf and seeing dolphins and spectacular sunsets. Southern Resorts aim to please, and they hit their mark!

We have stayed at Crystal Dunes before and are generally very pleased. We really liked being on the bottom floor for the view. A few diappointments - the carpet wasn't well vacumed. There was toothpaste smeared on a bedside table. The carpets are dirty and need cleaning. The king matresses are old, uncomfortale and you can feel the springs. We would only stay in this unit again if we knew the mattresses were replaced with new ones.

This unit on the Gulf with the pool outside my north door and the beach just off my patio, is just what I needed. The setting lends a peaceful feeling, yet it's close to shopping, entertainment, and restaurants-- so many good ones that it's hard to choose!
Management responds quickly, when needed, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance person does a great job! -

I have stayed in Crystal Dunes every August for the last 12 years. It is my favorite place in Destin. Southern Resorts makes the entire process from making your reservation, checking in and checking out so easy. The property is well managed and the units are always clean and ready on time. The beach is always gorgeous and the umbrella service fantastic. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
