Great home away from home for winter visit. Compass Resorts the management company were excellent and responsive. View is fantastic and smaller building of only 47 suites has a special air about it.
Only negative was that suite is a bit dark and the furnishings lack the Florida decor we expected. We will
definitely think about coming back next winter.

Loved the location and the condo was furnished beautifully. Was disappointed that there was not enough seating in the living area for 6 people. Also there were only 2 chairs on the balcony - no table and chairs which would have been nice to have. When we arrived the lights in the small bedroom didn't work and it was so dark in there that you couldn't see to unpack or do anything. I called Compass Resorts to report this and was told that it would be the next day before this could be fixed!! The repairman came the next day while most of us were at the beach. 2 of the teenagers were in the room to get something to drink and as instructed by us would not answer the door. Amy called me to report this and was very hateful about it. We ended us buying a battery for the fan remote(there was no battery in it) and that fixed it. I was disappointed in the service and the room and would probably not stay there again and I would hesitate to recommend the unit and Compass Resorts.

This is our "regular" condo and we love it. The spot is great and Compass customer service is always wonderful. You get to talk to an actual person when you call and they are very efficient in handling their business.

We just love this unit, our kids are getting older though. Would like to find a unit this beautiful on a higher floor. We just love DT. Would never stay anywhere else. The best part of our stay is the hospitality that Brian gives us on the beach!!!

The place is gorgeous. The location to the beach and pool was perfect. The negatives were that the storm doors were so heavy to the balcony that no one could get it open. The master one was a little better, so all the traffic to the balcony came through the bedroom, which was hard when an infant was asleep. The second thing is that although the air conditioner was on, the place was never really cool except in the middle of the night. I had read reviews that there was trouble with the air conditioning but i rented anyway just figuring that it was a fluke thing. We had an older parent and an infant in the condo during the day and at times we would come back to find them sweating. Only because of this would i not rent this unit again. It is a shame because if the air worked good, it would be perfect.

This condo is comfy and a great location in winter...near everything. The furniture and beds were comfortable, and just fine for the 3 of us. Enjoyed the views of palm trees, beach (from living room side windows) and pool. We experienced no negatives at all!

The condo was very nice inside and looked as if it had been recently remodeled with nice furniture and finishes. There was plenty of space in the kitchen and bathrooms, and there were large flatscreens in the den and master bedroom. The location of the buiding is right in the middle of town. Parking is located on the second level of the parking lot and you can enter the building on the second floor, steps away from the front door (no elevator ride).

My family and I had a wonderful experience while in Destin. The condo is very close to the covered parking area. I really liked the fact that we did not have to keep up with a key or a card but had a passcode, instead. I felt safe with the children going back and forth to the pool. The balcony is so close we could sit and watch our oldest child swim while the younger children were napping. The condo is decorated beautifully and fully stocked. The beds and living furniture are very comfortable. The beach was beautiful and there is such a nice view from this condo. We can't wait to come back!

My wife and I chose Destin for a vacation spot for us and our boys, ages 2 and 4. We chose Destin Towers and Compass Resorts recommended #23. It was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in.
The second floor is very conveniant as the parking spot is also on the second floor. Felt very safe and secure. The building is well kept as we saw the multiple maintenance people working everyday.
Very nicely remodeled. Kitchen and bathrooms are fantastic! Everything was nice from the kitchen utensils to the towels to the bedding. Flat screen TV's everywhere and a personal wireless internet connection. As all the other reviews say, the light switches are a bit confusing, but not a big deal for a week.
The beach is fantastic! The water and sand are beautiful. I've never seen sand that pure and white before. It was like walking in sugar. Wasn't very busy the week we were there, which is nice. The pool water wasn't quite warm enough, because its not heated and it was only in the mid 70's, but the hot tub was nice.
The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars was the balcony was a little disappointing. It's very large with a nice view, but there is only two very old and dirty sun chairs out there. We wish there was nicer furniture out there and a small outdoor dining set would have been nice as well. Seemed like most of the other units had them. Oh Well.
Other than that, our unit and vacation was fantastic! Would definately come back to Destin. I hope that the coming oil spill does not do too much damage to what is a beautiful area.

The place looks great without a doubt. However, the beds (all the beds) should be replaced. We all woke up each day with body aches because of old mattresses that needs to be replaced desperately!! My 50 pounds 7 year old son sinks into the cradle hole of the mattress so imagin my 120 pound weight!! The view of the beautiful beach off the balcony was blocked by palm trees and this particular condo is just too close to the pool for my taste. It was kind of noisy especially in the evening. I was reccommended this room in particular when I call to make the reservation for a different room. I wish I hadn't take the reccommendation. Other than that, we had a great time in Destin!
We usually frequent the North Carolina beaches but this year decided to try Destin as an alternative. The beaches and water were beautiful. Our stay in Destin Towers #23 was very nice. The condo was well-appointed and conveniently located. Traffic in the area was sometimes heavy making it difficult to get to certain places, but that was the same no matter where you stayed.
The condo has been very nicely renovate with tile floors, large showers, and a very nice kitchen with stainless appliances. We have no complaints about our stay. The only negatives I can say about the condo is that it is somewhat dark due to the way it is decorated and as others have remarked there are many light switches and not a lot of rhyme or reason to where they are located. My guess is this was due to it being renovated and putting switches where it was convenient to wire to. Not a big deal at all, though. The condo was still great.
The location is right across the street from the water park, close to many restaurants and other activities for the kids. I would highly recommend Destin Towers for a vacation stay.

Our condo at Destin Towers was beautiful! Light switches....not so much. Way too many and there is no rhyme or reason to any of them. A little mold in the master bath shower, but truely other than that.....we loved it. Loved that our building was not as big as the others and there fore not so many people on our designated beach area. Oh yea, had a prblem with the A/C not keeping it cool enough, the lowest it got was 73, and that's just not cool enough when the heat index outside is 112! Called maintenance, they were supposed to have someone out at 9:00 p.m., no one showed up until 10:30 when we were all in bed, pounded on the door and scared our kids half to death, he couldnt fix it and said he would be back the next a.m....to our knowledge he never came back. I had read in an earlier review from someone else the same problem with the A/C so I don't think they are too interested in fixing the problem....but again, the condo was BEAUTIFUL and we would return!!

This the best condo ever!!! The view is breathtaking; you are directly over the pool and practicely on the beach. This condo has everything anyone could want. It has recently been remodeled and is very modern and comfortable. We will definitely be back. Thanks

We LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this condo. The furnishing are amazing and it's right on the beach. The condo has everything you need and more. The beds were so comfy and the huge Master shower was awesome. The beautiful kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We didn't want to come home.
We booked through Compass Resorts. They sent us the gate code and code to get our key in the mail prior to our trip, so when we got to Destin we went straight to our condo.
We'll definitely be going back to Destin Towers #23.

We were actually in Destin 131 for our first 6 nights and we loved it so much we didn't want to leave. The 131 was not available the additional night, but the reservationist recommended #23. It was absolutely fabulous! So well decorated and comfortable. Everything we needed. Just a beautiful condo! You will enjoy your stay.

We enjoyed the stay for the most part. The airconditioner didn't seem to be working well in the unit. The dryer didn't work well either. It took 3-4 cycles to dry clothes/towels. Traffic was a nightmare which made finding the condo difficult. The sign is not very obvious. Overall, the price we paid was way too high considering there were no amenities other than a pool and grill
