We enjoyed staying at Destiny beach villa 14b. We were disappointed by a few things. The blinds need to be replaced. Sections of the blinds were missing or broken. Also the couch smelled horrible. They did come and spray/clean the couch but it did not belp the smell, therefore we could not sit on it. The fitness center was non-existent. We thought this was a family oriented place to stay but we were woke up in the middle of the night by young college students be extremely loud in the parking lot. We assumed that you have to be 25 years of age or older to rent a villa. Overall we had a good stay. Great location and access to the beach. Would stay here again.

The condo is always great to stay and we like the quick access to the beach as it is just accross the street for a 5 to 10 minute walk going under Hwy 98.

Loved the easy check-in, entrance, and location to the beach. Impressed by the quick response with a maintenance issue- shower curtain rod fell off. General feel of the place -old and in need of remodeling and general fine tune repair (for ex. plugs old, electrical outlet couldn't be used). Not happy that amenities (tennis, work-out room) are available but were required to pay an additional fee for a bracelet to use them. This was not mentioned/advertised!

We rent the same property every year for Spring Break and will continue to do so for many years to come. The property is in the best location and you can't beat the price. Our family looks forward to our home away from home every year! Love it!

Great location directly across the street from the beach. The condo overlooked a lake which was beautiful and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We were only here for 2 nights as a last minute trip with the teenagers before they head back to school and we had a great time. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I love where Destiny Beach Villas is located--to me it is the perfect spot in Destin. Very close (across the street) to the beach. This part of the beach is not too crowded. There are two pools, but I only swam in one--it was heavenly. You can walk from the beach straight to the pool and rinse off. There is another hose by the door. I really loved the tunnel under the road -- you don't have to run across traffic if you don't want to. 14B is on the ground floor and we loved how easy it was to park--practically outside our door!
The kitchen was a dream. It had about everything you'd ever need to cook and was in great condition. The bedrooms were fairly large with comfortable beds. No bunk beds like other places I had considered. Bathrooms were adequate; nothing fancy.
There is a very large stain on one bedroom carpet, which was annoying and ugly, as is the carpet in general. The washer and dryer were the kind that uses HE detergent so we had to buy some and then learn how to operate that kind of washer and dryer. There is no longer a hole in the ceiling or a closet off track.
You cannot see the beach at all from here, but out back there is a beautiful view of a lake with herons, gulls, and turtles.
You also get an amenity package, but all we used out of it was the golf; it includes free movie rentals and discounts on other attractions. We loved our stay here. -

love the condo! Will be back for sure! the only issue we had was not having a key to the restrooms at the pool. Will that be changed?

This ground floor condo has two bedrooms and comfortably accomodates two couples each with their own bathroom. It is comfortably furnished.
The location and local amenities are excellent, just a short walk to the beach crossing the road by an underpass tunnel, safe and convenient for all ages. Restaurants and shops are a short drive away. The complex has two swimming pools, very nice.
Our only complaint concerns a lack of attention to maintenance and upkeep. This particular condo had an unfilled opening in the ceiling which might have been occupied previously by a ventilation fan - very unsightly and a potential haven for bugs, vermin, etc. Also, the sliding closet doors in one bedroom were jammed half way open and out of their tracks, something very obvious to whoever cleaned the place before our arrival. Neither were fixed during our short stay.
This is the second time we have stayed at Destiny Beach Villas and the second time we have had maintenance issues. On our first visit the unit was in desperate need of carpet
cleaning, bed cover and cushion cleaning, and dining chair seat cleaning, all in a terrible state obvious to the most casual obbserver.
It is a great place if you are lucky enough to get a clean, well maintained unit. Constructive feedback given to Dale Peterson Vacations after our first visit (Septemeber 2007) was not acknowledged. I'm not sure they pay attention to customer feedback. -

Love the area and have stayed before. Rather have the condo that faces the beach but this one was great. Easy access to the beach and pool, quiet and convenient. Rooms were nicely decorated, needed some cleaning, but all in all, fantastic. Will be there again in 2009 or sooner.

This is the second time that my family and I have spent our Labor Day weekend at the Destiny Beach Villas. This year our planned vacation turned into an evacuation due to Hurricane Gustav and thanks to the wonderful people at Scott Peterson Vacation we were able to extend our stay without any problems.
I will definetly recommend this property to family/friends.
Both times that I have stayed there it my family & I have had a awesome time and I look forward to spending more time there next year.
