EDGE306 is one of our larger units at the Edgewater. This well appointed unit features a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, two TV's, DVD and VCR. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath property and in the master bedroom there is a king size bed, there is a queen bed and 2 twins in the guest bedroom. Sorry, no smoking. The property boasts 2 pools, kiddie pool, hot tub, fitness center, underground parking, and a Tiki bar on the beach (in season). This building has wireless Internet.

I was disappointed - first had to use Lysol wipes to clean louvered door to pantry,which obviously had not been cleaned in months. Tried to remove black scum from around water faucet in kitchen with Lysol wipes. Roaches (large ones) were present in the condo. Faucets in both bathrooms need replacing. Kitchen counter tops and cabinets, bathroom counter tops and cabinets need replacing. When dishwasher was used, there was a bad odor that floated up through the kitchen sink. The whole place needs to be updated. Wall color choices are not good.
The location is good - right on the beach which was great. To stay in competition with newer buildings and other areas, the Edgewater HOa needs to get busy and invest some money into the building and make it the grand old girl that it should be. -

This unit is rather Sub-standard as compared to others we have seen in this building. Kitchen is adequate but outdated with broken cabinet doors under the sink. Plumbing fixtures in the bathrooms are corroded with a poor appearance.The television is a 1960'S version that requires great patience to operate since it is not a cable ready(not a flat screen Hi-def)set!

The views and property overall are great. The interior of this unit is dated. Carpet in the bedrooms isn't very clean and the ceiling was peeling in the master bedroom. During our trip, the weather wasn't the greatest, but the televisions in each room were worse. I had better televisions in my dorm room (23 years ago...)! Overall we will definitely stay at this property again- this unit, I'm not so sure.

The condo was great. The beach chair and umbrella attendant was very nice. The locatation of the condo was very accesable to resturants, grocery stores and most importantly, the Outlet mall!

We had no real issues. The place was clean, had everything we needed. The only issue we had was our key pad combo stopped working. Called the office from my front door. Got a new code. End of issue. Wish it would of had some better pots and pans. The ones there are pretty worn. Silverware was fine, so were the plates and glasses.

The service was wonderful, the beach was beautiful. The only issue we found was that the condonwas filthy. We had to buy tilex in order to take showers. There was a juice puddle on the table which had also puddled on the floor. It was obvious that it had been there a while because it was dried up. Other than that it was the best vacation we had ever been on! We will definitely be back

We had such a good time here! We have stayed here in Destin several times before and this was my favorite place! The view of the ocean was wonderful, and the pools were awesome! Great snack bar and fitness center to go work it off! All this is great, but so was the price. Very affordable! Loved it!!!

The condo was clean but could have been updated more. We enjoyed our first 2 days in peace and quiet. The last two days we had noisy neighbors both upstairs and next door who were up all night slamming the hurricane glass sliding doors.

In the past we have come to Destin in October. We have been coming to Destin since 1987. We did not anticipate the number of people there during spring break.
We did have some issues. The Edgewater guard staff at the gate questioned the gate passes in our vehicle windows. They indicated that they had never seen passes from Dale Peterson. And in some cases were rude. The card pass worked and when my daugther used the key pad we had no problem. We had two vehicles with two gate passes, but one card. The guard staff could have been more professional, seemed to be a bunch of want-a-be's. The security staff questioned our gate passes, but did nothing in reguards to the unsupervised kids running up and down the asile ways at what seemed to be all hours of the night. Pillows at the condo need replaced in my opinon. Kitchen celling lights were tempermental when turned on. Some times you had to try a couple of times and wait for the ballest to warm up. The chair service on the beach would set up the entire beach area not leaving any gulf edge open to people who wished to use their own chairs. I understand they are there to make money, but renting a condo at Edgewater should allow you to use their beach area versus being force to move over to the Ship Watch beach area. In the future, we will come down in October. -

I specifically asked for directions to the realty office to pick up keys to the unit. Their reply was, "You check in at Edgewater, you don't come here." I found that odd since every other time I had used a realtor I checked in at their office. However, I did as told and went to Edgewater. After a 7 hour drive, I waited in a long line at Edgewater to check in. At their desk I was told, you check in at Dale Peterson Realty. They could not give me directions to the office, so I called and waited on hold for someone to give me directions. After finally checking in, we unload and head to the beach hoping to get the beach chairs that we were also promised by the reservationist at Dale Peterson. We were told by the rental guy that he has patrons ALL THE TIME say they were told by Dale Peterson Realty that chairs were included but....they are not. He would gladly rent me some for a fee. If you rent through Edgewater, you can find specials going on. I asked for that special and was told that they don't offer specials. I WILL NOT EVER, EVER, EVER rent from Dale Peterson Realty again. Very unqualified staff, who tell you things that are not true!! The beach was beautiful. The condo was nice but- RENT STRAIGHT THROUGH EDGEWATER!!!!

The room was very nice, we had everything we needed. Enjoyed having a tiki hut with food and drinks, that is a nice extra! This is the second time I've stayed at a Dale E. Peterson place and both times I was told we would have complimentary chairs and umbrella and a week before the trip an email was sent saying that was no longer available. I do believe this needs to come off the website because it is a let down and an extra expense. Other than that, I would recommend Edgewater to anyone and was very happy with #306. Thank you so much!

The location of the condo is great. It's within walking distance to the beach. We had plenty of room in the condo to spread out. It was very clean and everything we needed to cook our own meals. We didn't use the amenities much, but enjoyed the pools and the beach. Definitely recommend this unit to anyone.

Accomodations were great and located close to the things we needed. The grounds, beach, and water were the best we have experienced in the US. Staff was very nice and helpful. We would recommend to anyone and would stay here again.

We stayed at Edgewater in August 2008 and loved it! The staff was very friendly. They provide two free chairs for each nights stay which was great. Also, the groundskeeping staff did an amazing job. The lawns were well manicured and the pool was always clean. We will definately be returning. Thanks Edgewater!
