EM204 is a beautiful second floor 2-bed, 2-bath + bunkroom gulf front property. This tiled unit sleeps 8 people, with a King in the master bedroom (equipped with it’s own private bathroom, with a Whirlpool tub), a King size bed in the guest bedroom, twin bunks in the bunkroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit features 3 TV’s, 1 VCR, 1 DVD player, a stereo, and a washer and dryer.Parking is limited at Emerald Dunes to 2 passenger vehicles.No trailers, jet skis, RV's or boats are permitted.

Great place on the beach! Needs a little upgrade and attention (tv remote didn't work, emergency lights outside shine brightly through front windows which makes it difficult to sleep, sleeper sofa needs to be replaced). Rental agency great to work with!

The only good about Emerald Dune 204 is the view. But it could have been so much better with just a little upkeep of the condo. First of all, there was only one chair on the balcony. Me and my husband couldn't enjoy the balcony without dragging out another chair for inside the condo. When we arrived, it was noticeable that the condo needed cleaning, there was sand on the floor and the rug needed vacuumed. The lamp in the living room, did not have a light bulb, the outlet in the living room was broken, so that was a safety hazard. The Tv's desperately need to be upgraded. There were 2 TV remotes in the master bedroom, one did not have batteries and the other one did not control the TV. And those are just a few issues. But despite all that, we still had a good time, just had to stop thinking about spending all that money on a place that needed to be restore

The condo is just right for our needs. We have ample room for just the two of us. We like the view from the second floor and it is easy access to the stairs or elevator to bring our bikes---we biked 80 miles this trip mostly on 30a. Sunday the weather and water were perfect, however the rest of the week the surf was very rough. The condo is in adequate shape for a rental, but we did notice some maintenance issues. There was black mold/mildew growing near the bottom of the shower and around the jets in the whirlpool tub. Those areas definitely need some attention especially when renters pay a cleaning fee. There was only one chair on the balcony (there were two last year). The hot water handle for the whirlpool tub was broken but the tub itself worked well. All in all, we would definitely stay at this unit again!!

I liked not having to pick a key up at a different location. The condo was very neat and clean, Very comfortable. The only problem we had was when we tried to use the code on the envelope for the door.

We all had the best time there and we would love to be back next year. is in a nice loc. you have everthing right there are not to far away. about the only thing we all didnt like about it was the check in time is a bit late.

the master bathroom was not clean, the jets were so dirty that we had to use only the other tub...the shower was also not well maintained in the master bath.

This was our second year staying at Emerald Dunes. Last year when we stayed, your company offered many great values for restaurants, Big Kahuna's Water Park, movie rentals, etc. This year, we weren't offered any extras. In addition, many of our friends booked their reservations through Resort Quest the same time that we were in Destin and received up to 50% discounts on their condominiums. We were a little disappointed in the price aspect, but other than that, we enjoy Emerald Dunes.

We enjoyed the home and location. However, early Saturday morning a crew arrived to repair the balcony in the unit next door. They parked a diesel cherry picker below our balcony and ran the engine all day. The noise woke us up and the diesel fumes drove us out of the unit all day.
We repoted this but nothing was done. After arriving home I called and was given a credit for that days rental. Outside of this incident we loved the accomodation and would stay there againResponse from Dale E Peterson Vacations - 03/12/2010

Although we do our best to notify our guests of any known construction work and accommodate their requests, there are sometimes unforeseeable and uncontrollable circumstances that occur. The location of Emerald Dunes is as fine as it gets in Destin. The particular unit that we stayed in left something to be desired. The televisions were small and had poor pictures and the overall furnishings were outdated and frankly somewhat cheap. There was not enough seating in the Den area for us all to sit comfortably. The refridgerator did not keep our food cold enough, nor did the freezer perform satisfactorily. We have stayed in other units at this complex that were much nicer and more comfortable

We had such an awesome time. It was my daughter's first trip to the beach and she loved it. The condo felt like home to us. It was so nice to be so close to the beach, literally just feet away. Thank you so much! We truly enjoyed ourselves and hope to be back again soon!!

We stayed 8 days at Emerald Dunes and was very pleased. The condo was clean, well kept/stocked and highly recommended. The beach area is clean and peaceful and highly recommended for those who are looking for a quiet well kept atmosphere. We stayed in the area last year as well but this was our first time at Emerald Dunes. We'd definately return. No complaints.
