Grand Caribbean is a three story property located in the quiet Crystal beach area of Destin. The property is located right across the street from the dedicated beach access and is only a short stroll to the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The property has a pool and hot tub onsite and also a community grilling area. Most of the rooms at Grand Caribbean offer restricted views of the Gulf of Mexico off of your private living room balcony. This property does not have elevators but does have stairs on each side of the building. The mattress on the main bedroom was horrible. We ended up going to Wal-Mart trying to buy a topper for it but that didn't work. Plus our main bedroom was right by staircase which was caused noise and woke you up in morning plus light glared into room so we had to put something up to block light. My husband was almost in traction by the time we left from his back. The condo was smaller than ones we had stayed in the past but was cheaper. Also only had one bathroom. Pool, hot tub and location were good. I would not recommend nor would I stay in this condo again.

The only thing wrong with the condo was the shower did not work; I called for service and no one showed up. I would love to stay in this unit again, provided the shower works.
All in all, I needed the time off and really enjoyed my stay. Appprecite the location to the shops, restaurants and the beach.
Hope to be back really soon! -

My wife and I have stayed at numerous Grand Caribbean condos over the years, and although West #208 was probably the nicest as far as decor goes, it was the worst for sleeping. The mattress sagged in the middle and was probably due to be replaced several years ago. We have always used Dale Peterson for our rentals and will continue, but we will seek more info on any unit we rent in the future. Thank you for a nice time other than sleeping. The service at the pool and condo was great. Very friendly maintenence man and great fast service.
The condo was perfect great dacore.
The only thing I didn't like was the mattress on the sofa bed not comfortable. -

The beach is right across the street with an easy boardwalk access. The condo was nicely decorated and has plenty of room. We were able to sit on the balcony and watch our children swim in the pool. I highly recommend this room!

I was so impressed with the condo at the Grand Caribbean. It was the cleaness, freshess place that I have every been to while on vacation. The kitchen and the washer and dyer were the highlights for me. A family of five these items come in handy:) This property is definitely family oriented which is a plus when you have little ones. Overall, we had an awesome experience and are planning to stay at the Grand Caribbean next year 2012. It was worth every penny we paid. We had a beach view and was not even staying on an beachfront property.

It was clean and ready to enjoy the pool, the view, and the local community. The beach was right across the street which had a nice cross walk and a place to rinse off. I'll definately keep this place in mind for future visits.

I have enjoyed staying at the Grand Caribbean for several years now. However in the past this included amenities including a free daily movie rental and free daily golf. I was disappointed to discover that this year there were no such amenities. I strongly wish that were not the case. No explanation was given as to why they were discontinued. I hope they bring them back for next year. Vacationers, like me, dont appreciate changes like that.

This is the second time we stay at the Grand Caribean, but it's the first time at this apartment #208. The property it's beutifuly decorated, and very confortable. We had a wonderful week there and we'll sure try to come to this apartment again next year.

The condo was awesome. Centrally located and right across from the beach. It was clean and tastefully decorated. The weather was spectacular!

Destin is a super nice area. Our room was great!!!! It was very clean and we enjoyed the balcony and the view of the gulf. We will never go back to the east coast. The gulf is so much nicer. I would recommend this condo and destin area to everyone

Great condo, great location. The only thing I would suggest is to have some basic cleaning supplies on hand like liquid dish soap, sponges and some floor cleaner. Otherwise, we had a great time.
