Our recent visit was a great weekend while we attended a wedding nearby. Our condo was a great location and we enjoyed the whole experince.However even tho it stated pet free,(which was important to us) we did note small dog hairs on the floor and our sheets on master bed were stained and had to be taken off before we felt we could sleep on the bed. Just needed a little more cleaning process, and everything would have been perfect. Staff at the Inn was very nice and helpful and parking was a easy process.

Had great time at Destin. All the places we ate were all very good. The place we stayed was nothing but 1st class. My son was married while we were there and everything went off very very good. Look forward to another stay there.

As always this is a great place to stay in crowded Destin. Right on the beach,close to dining,grocery, shopping, and movies. Plan to return again in the future. The unit was very nice.

This is our third stay at The Inn at Crystal beach in unit 310. We really enjoy the unit however, the master bedroom mattress is becoming a little saggy and two of the patio chairs need replacing because of rips.
We really enjoy that area of Destin because of close accessibility to restaurants and shopping. The street is not too busy. The addition of the new 790 restaurant is great. The staff at the condo is wonderful. We will be returning many more times.
There is one thing that bothers us and that is not being able to sit on our balcony sometimes because of the cigarette smoke from other units.Certain times are fine but this last time the unit below us smoked constantly!! I would love some feedback from you about this issue.

This unit is the same size as other two bedroom units we have stayed in at the Inn at Crystal Beach. However, the massive, dark furniture and the "accessories" which were liteally everywhere, made us feel closed in and dreary. Instead of the bedposts looking like normal ones, they looked like columns instead of bedposts. Add to that the huge "palm-like" ceiling fan over the bed, and we felt that Dracula would appear at any moment. Very overpowering - not in a good way. Just our opinion, but if this condo were to be sold, about half or more of the furnishings would need to be moved out so that people could "see" the unit and enjoy what there really is to enjoy - the beach and wonderful location. Additionally, the kitchen has not been updated like other units we have stayed in - if that were done, that would help things. Just not our favorite unit and we will not stay in that unit again. Other than feeling like we were in Transalvania or somewhere similar, the location was great and the Inn overall is still a place we would recommend to friends or family - just not this particular unit. People with disabilities could not maneuver in this unit. If you are looking for "beachy looking" accommodations, this unit is not it.

This was our 15th Wedding anniversary trip and it was wonderful! Rm 310 was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The resturant on the property was wonderful, the food was really good and it was so nice not to have to get dressed up a lunch to go eat. Could just leave the beach and go straight to the resturant which was so convenient. The location of the property was nice as well. We will definiately be coming back and staying.

We visit Destin every fall and have stayed at the Inn the past three years. It is everything we desire in a rental - the golf package included makes it a very economical choice for us, as my husband plays every day of our stay. My daughter loves the fitness room, and the beach service is my favorite amenity. Unit 310 is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated - our favorite unit so far. We are sure we could not find a better place to stay!

Overall, our stay at the Inn at Crystal Beach #310 was great. We loved the private access to the beach and all the amenities the Inn provided...and overall the Destin area in general.
We did have one concern regarding our stay. Unit #310 is beautiful and well decorated, however it needs an extreme deep cleaning. Upon arrival the floor was sticky and extremely dirty (the bottoms of our socks were literaly black within 10 minutes of putting them on). Someone did come and clean the floors the day after our arrival, which we appreciated. All the rugs are incredibly soiled and dingy looking. If the floor was so visibly dirty, that leads us to believe the remaining areas are not as clean as they appear. We would have felt much more
"at home" had the floors and area rugs been cleaner.
Overall, we would return to the Inn at Crystal Beach. We would love to return to Destin and hopefully the next time unit #310 will have some clean floors and rugs! -

We chose this condo for a couple of reasons: we wanted a condo on the beach and a restaurant onsite since we would have no car. This condo was directly on the beach with gorgeous ocean views! The restaurant had tasty cajun food-red beans & rice was really good. Its not open for breakfast and closes at 9pm which i found to be a bit early. We did walk the beach to the beachwalk cafe for an elegant dinner. (about 0.5miles). The condo had plenty of space for my husband and I. Large kitchen with plenty of dishes. Nice bathroom with whirlpool tub. Very nice large screen tv in living rm. Balcony with wonderful views. Beach chairs and umbrella were provided each day until 5pm and they even had food/drink service on the beach. The only downfall was the noise! We could hear kids running and banging in every condo around us day and night. We could hear everyone at the pool also. Overall, we would stay here again. We did fly into VPS and took a cab which was about $45.

1. We rent a conversion van to get family to Fla and must park on top not in the garage. The parking for the resturant as well as other small cars in the lot made it difficult
2. The new steps to the beach made it more difficult to get back and forth especially with knee and hip issues
3. We had a bug man show up to spray condo without giving us a day notice -

The tile floors in the unit were dirty. Like they were just wet mopped, no cleanser. When you walk around with socks on your feet, they get very dirty. We have rented that unit before. We have reserved another unit in that building for a week in July..

Destin, Florida is our preferred location for beach vacations, and the Inn at Crystal Beach has been our favorite for many years. The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the units, and the beach facilities along with the golf amenities will ensure that we will be reserving a condo through Dale Peterson again very soon, in fact in august 2011.

Everything was very convenient - parking, elevator availability, access to the beach, beach chairs, restaurant/bar, proximity of other restaurants & grocery store
The unit itself was very beautifully decorated and we couldn't have asked for a more well-stocked kitchen!
We did notice that the tile floors were a little dirtier than we would have liked but that is the only housekeeping issue we had.
Would also have liked the pool and pool area to be bigger. Seemed small for that size of a resort.

The weather was mid-70s during the day, the sky was cloudless and the water crystal clear. Beaches were practically deserted and restaurants had immediate seating and excellent food. The Inn at Crystal Beach is the perfect location, centrally located to all destinations in the area.

We booked #310 at the Inn at Crystal Beach and were told it had a walk-in shower for my elderly mother. Upon arrival, we found it had a regular tub shower which she could not get into. The personnel at the desk took care of switching us to another condo which did have a walk-in shower. We were so pleased with their help. Our stay would have been very difficult otherwise. We have stayed at the Inn for years and appreciate the quick service and helpful attitude of the staff there. Thanks for a great vacation. See you next year!

The good: the lobby is nice, the restaurant seems nice though we didn't eat there, the pool area is very nice and the condo itself was ok, the kitchen being especially nice. We liked the covered parking.
The not good: both bathrooms had serious cleaning issues which I will not report because it's too gross. The furniture is very nice but much too big for that condo. It makes the place feel crowded, especially the master bedroom. And last but not least, the lobby and restaurant/back exit had an unpleasant smell the whole time, which was a factor in us deciding not to eat there. It was a vague sewer smell. -

This condo was beautifully decorated. The building is getting some age on it and it's beginning to show within the unit. The sliding class doors were not on the tracks and the tile floor was nasty. The whole unit needed an extreme deep cleaning. Other than that, the view was gorgeous, room was stocked well and we enjoyed our stay.

Noise level was quite high this trip. Construction noise started by 7 am and continued until well after midnight. So did the teenagers!!
The facility is great as well as the staff. Beach is beautiful and well maintained. Beach staff was wonderful, too. Would stay there again but not during spring break or near a condo being remodeled. -

We love the Inn at Crystal Beach. The unit #310 was fantastic. With a child, we liked the quick access to the beach and pool; wonderful view of ocean from the balcony; spacious and beautifully decorated unit. The guest service desk in open 24/7, and we enjoyed the beach amenities. (chairs and umbrellas set up every day of our stay) Great location to shopping areas, eating places and tourist attractions. This stay was our second and we will be back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Crystal Beach. Initially there was a mistake made in reserving the condo online but it was corrected by the folks at Dale Peterson very efficiently. The condo was beautiful and the easy access to the beach was a lifesaver with two kids and a mother-in-law in tow. There was a little confusion on how to reserve your chairs and umbrella daily but we never had any trouble finding one...there always seemed to be just enough. My husband was a little disappointed with the water pressure in the main bathroom but it was a beautiful bathroom with a wonderful whirlpool tub. Overall, it was an excellent experience!

A great place to stay in Destin! Our unit had all the amenities of home. Staff was friendly.The view from the balcony was perfect. Close to shopping, etc. The pool was a little small for the size of the facility-but we were mainly on the beach so it didn't matter that much.

The condo at Crystal Beach (#310) ia guite adequate, however, it is absolutely not clean! I spent one entire Saturday attempting to clean the guest bedroom. I requested that the linen (other than the sheets) be sent out for cleaning--the comforters were filthy!). I swept up a plastice cup (16 Oz) full of sand in the guest room, and the remainder of the condo had not been thououghly dusted (I'm sure) in a year! We did not use the fan in the master bedroom until we cleaned it--the dust was so thick on the blades! #310 is a very nice unit, but I would be very dissatisfied if I owned this Unit! I realize that renters are not always concerned about the care and cleanliness of rentals, however, #310 was absolutely unacceptable--we will not return to The Inn at Crystal Beach in 2009-2010!

Our family was visiting Destin and were staying at another condo when we spotted the Inn at Crystal Beach. We made an inquiry at the front desk and were given a great tour of several of the condo's. The next time we booked our vacation, we chose the Inn at Crystal Beach and it is amazing!
Not only are the condominiums superb, a restaurantlocated within the property, Beachwalk Cafe, is the only fine dining restaurant on the beach.
The staff is friendly and the property is first class. We have stayed there twice and look forward to more vacations at our 'Florida Get-a-way' !!!
