This is my second visit to the Inn at Crystal Beach with the last one being 5 years ago. I must say that overall the property seems to be aging much quicker than expected. They need better upkeep. Honestly, I do not plan to stay here again in the future...not at this price point anyway. This place is more of a $1,500/week spring break value...Not $2,500!
For ease of reading, I will use bullet points:
* View is great and hearing the ocean at night is awesome!
* Appliances are newer and worked well
* Granite in kitchen is nice
* Overall Decor. not too bad
* Unit 603B has a shared main entrance (w/603a) which I did not really love.
* Balcony has cheap and rusting furniture on it...not ideal!
* Living room furniture is not comfortable.
* Mattresses were "OK"...not horrible, but not great either (stiff and springy)
* Washer and Dryer in the second bedroom is ridiculous
* Showers were "OK" but again not great
* The fixtures and finished are pretty much "mobile-home grade"
* Glass kitchen table is nasty
* Screens for balcony barely will open & close...tracks not lined up properly.
* They have room for a dual vanity in master bath but they cheaped-out and did not put a second sink in??? Also, they cheaped-out again and did not even put a light fixture over the second mirror??? We could not figure this one out for the life of us!
* A working alarm clock in the Master Bedroom would have been helpful
* Why in the world would the landlord choose to spray (inside unit) for pests during the spring break season...wait one more week when most are gone for goodness sake!!!
I think this about covers it...Simply not worth what we paid!!! -

This met all of my expectations and then some. The view we had of the beach was wonderful. We found the unit very clean. The restaurant and happy hour were an added bonus to the experience. The staff were very accommodating. I highly recommend

Easy to work with when making reservations,24 hour service desk to greet you when you arrive and give you any help that is needed. Upon arrival found the condo to be just as described and very clean. The location is wonderful with easy access to all Destin and Ft. Walton Fl. has to offer. Also as a benefit to staying here, get some great coupons and love the free beach chairs daily.

had a great time beach is beautiful.restaurant and bar great. our unit was nice but definetily needs attention
in the cleaning department, tubs are really pretty grimy, not to mention mold in tub area. front doors kind of banged up. would probably come back but not this particular unit.

The condo was well appointed and had a beautiful view.
The staff was friendly and helpful although the keys they gave us at check-in didn't work and we had to go back downstairs for new ones. The front door of the condo was very hard to open and we had to hit it with our shoulders to push it open.
The restaurant and pool areas were very nice and clean.
We will definately stay there again! -

We came down a day or two after a tropical storm (Lee, I think) and the weather was sunny with mild temperatures-Mid 80's. The condo was nicely furnished and comfortable. Rather than so much golf amenities, it would have been nice to have a drink/food coupon for the 790 restaurant in the complex or the ice cream store in a nearby shopping center. Perhaps a float, even if it had the Inn or DEP logo.

Very nice accommodation as the unit had just been remodeled. Could use a new tub in the master bath. Pricing was good (got a better deal than advertised) and service was excellent as always. Look forward to returning soon.

I thought the location of the condo complex was great.Our unit looked recently updated. The only odd thing was to get to the beach from the units, you had to go through the restaurant on 1st floor. I felt a little awkward going thru area with sand, coolers, and bathing suits but there was no other option.

This was our first visit to Destin. We loved Destin and were really pleased with our accommodations. We liked that the building is attended, like a hotel. The staff was relly nice and helpful. The condo was comfortable and updated. When we had an issue (cofee maker didn't work), it was quickly resolved. The only thing we didn't like was that, despite the rest of the unit being clean, updated and terrific, the showers were a bit grungy.

This condo was very homey, relaxing, decorated very nice and comforting after an allday at the beach. The only thing I would suggest is having the washer and dryer in the hallway instead of the bedroom.

People at the front desk were very friendly and accomodating. The room was very nice with lots of space...full kitchen and washer/dryer. The view of the beach was beautiful and my wife and I loved to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine. There was lots of different things to do within the immediate area and within a short drive. We've already talked about planning a return trip for next year.

Jacuzzi did not work,was dirty.Unit needs some painting,especially in 2nd bedroom on wall behind night stand,needs table on balcony that you can set something on and nicer chairs,Overall very clean and decorated well.We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.Was very quiet and loved the beach view.

I have stayed in various rooms at The Inn @ Crystal beach. It is just top of the line. Close to everything, and the property offers everything you would need for your vacation. I would highly recommend any property from Dale E. Peterson at the Inn @ crystal beach
