Condo rental #413 accommodates up to 6 people with a king in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds in the guest bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit has two HDTVs. Destin's Beach is just steps away with a beautiful view from your private balcony. All units are non-smoking. Absolutely gorgeous condo! Eash access with elevators! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location! Best we have rented in Destin in five years. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony every evening! We will be back! Best vacation with parents and sister and her husband! Wonderful memories to cherish a lifetime! Thanks!

this was our first vacation as a family and we were very skeptical about everything but once we arrived we realized there was nothing to worry about. the staff and the islander was awesome..the walk to the beach was short...the room we stayed in was more than we expected. we will definatley be going back next summer.

We really enjoyed staying at the Islander and especially love room 413. We have stayed there many times before and enjoy the decor that the owners used in their rooms. We always request 413 because of its decor and amenties. The master bed was so comfortable that at times we did not want to get out of bed to do anything else. The owners of this room did not go cheap and just put the basics in there. You can even tell by the patio chairs on the balcony which room is 413 compared to the rest. I give this room a a+ rating.

Service from hotel staff was professional and friendly. Loved the decor in the condo. Location is excellent. Watch fishing boats leave in the moring while having coffee. We loved the quiet but needed more toilet paper and trash bags which should be available for purchase.

We had a great week in Destin- March 25-31. The weather was perfect and so was the condo. The grounds were clean and everything was easily accessible- pool, beach, laundry etc.. We would love to return next year.

My family had a wonderful time in Destin and we really enjoyed our condo unit and amenities of the complex. It had been recently remodeled and decor was perfect for a beach setting. Location was great with only a short walk to beach right from our condo. The grounds were nicely kept with plenty of available BBQ grills every evening we decided to prepare our own meals. The pools were very clean and the heated pool made our evening swims with the kids perfect.
I only have a couple of suggestions:
1. It would have been nice if there were more basic necessities available in the unit. Things like salt and pepper, dish washing detergent etc. These are the little things that most people don't usually bring when traveling for a week long trip. We only realized they are not available when we needed them.
2. The tennis court lights stay on until 10pm which is great for families like ours who are avid players. However, the sprinkler system around the courts are scheduled to start at 8:30 or 9:00 which soaks the edges of the courts. Anytime a ball would roll to the fence it would get wet and it was then then unusable. Not to mention the surface becomes slippery and is a liability if a player were to slip and fall which my youngest son did. Thankfully, he was not hurt.
Other than those two minor things, our stay was great. The ladies at the front counter were warm and receiving. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay at the Islander. The Condo was exactly what was listed. The staff was so nice and helpful. The amenities were just right, the pool faciities clean and well cared for.
The condo had some minor issues but the staff was on top of things to make sure things were fixed immediately.
The weather was perfect so it made it even more pleasant. There really wasn't anything "least."
I would stay there again. The size of the condo was just right, the location at "land's end" was also great. Hope to go back soon. -

The check-in was quick and easy. Everyone at the desk was very helpful and friendly. The condo was beautiful. We had a good view of the jetty. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to serve a dozen people. Did miss having a hair dryer in the bathroom, although they lent me one at the desk. It was a wonderful time and I hated to leave. Thanks

Loved the condo!!! I don't think I have ever stayed any where at the beach where the staff was so nice. All of the staff was so nice and professional. We stayed there during tropical storm Lee so the weather was terrible but the manager gave us all the movies we wanted for no charge. He also called my cell phone to tell me that the parking lot was flooding and I may want to move my car to higher ground. The maintenace man came right away when we called about the TV (we couldn't figure out how to turn it on). He was very nice and showed us how to operate the remotes. I was very impressed with all of the staff. The condo was beautiful...our boys loved "their own beds". It was decorated very nice and it was also very clean. I wished it had more of a view of the beach from the balcony, but that is honestly the only thing I would change. We had a nice time and will come back to stay again...Not during hurricane season!!

We enjoyed our stay in this condo at the Islander Resort. Good location, with an easy walk to the beach. Beach area was a bit smaller, but that was a positive with young children. Not crowded at the beach or pool during the time of our stay, which was another positive. The condo was nicely decorated/furnished. Good service from the resort staff as well.

We had some minor issues such as the TV not working but that was not a big problem and the morning we left the toilet messed up. Overall the condo was great and we loved the decor and would highly recommend staying there to anyone. We would personally stay there again! Location was great and easily accessible to everything, but not too crowded which was ideal.

This was my family and I first trip to Destin, Fl. and the Islander. It was perfect. Unit 413 was the best unit on the site! The staff was awesome and we had no complications at all. We will be returning this summer and have already referred this unit to other people.

The service at this resort was excellent the people were very friendly always greeting you and helpful in finding anything we were in need of they made you feel at home.I will not be able to a verbalize how wonderful this place and our stay was but I will try.
Our condo was very tastefully and well decorated exceptionally clean and very cosy.I felt at home in the condo and totally comfortable.It was set up with everything one could possibaly need just the right size for our family and laid out perfect.
Location Location Location what can I say it was in the middle of everything and you were close to everything you wanted or needed.Everything is at arms length.
We were right on the beach and had access to walking the beach and taking in the most beautiful view of Destin Flordia the white sand and blue water.This will become a yearly trip for our family and home away from home for us. We could not have been better please with our stay or choice of condo. We came to Destin right after Christmas the 27th of December the weather was a bit cool, but still warmer then where we came from Illinois,and we checked out Janurary 1st so New Year eve we watched the fireworks from our balcony they were fabulous, and it was so nice to watch them from the comfort of our private balcony. My only regret is we did not get to enjoy the many things Destin has to offer or all the amenities the resort offers due to the season and time of year we went. the weather was to cool to swim or partake in any water activities. So we were limited in what we were able to do however, the beauty of Destin and our condo compensated what we missed.So our next stay will be in the Spring or Summer :) -

During the past 15 years we have vacationed in Destin several times. We have stayed in unit 413 of the Islander each time. The unit is attractively decorated and fully furnished, including multiple TVs and an awesome surround sound system. The owners provide a complimentary beach setup each day, which we consider a huge bonus. Other amenities available at the Islander meet or exceed our expectations. Very friendly and service oriented staff. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful experience in Destin! The room was beautifully decorated (just like the pictures show) and provided a great sunset view. We could also see the beach, so we had the best of both worlds! The staff at the Islander was friendly and helpful and suggested things for us to do and see in Destin. September is the time to go to Destin because the crowds are gone but the beach is still great! We enjoyed the included beach service, as well as the awesome amenities package. The only thing we disliked was that we had to come home!

This particullar condo is really nice. The owners put a little extra into it to give it that relaxing and interesting feeling. I have seen some of the other rooms and they just seem so plain. We really liked the difference and the master bedroom( as close to home as your gonna get). We also liked the free chair and umbrella on the beach, extra perk. The Islander is maybe 100 yard from the beach if that. It is just a short drive to all the attractions in Destin. The only con we had was that the sandbar on the beach had been washed out and alot of the beach that we saw the last time we were there was gone, hopefully this will be fixed before we come back. Other than that well worth the money and hope to visit again.

We LOVED this condo unit. The owners made it feel like we were at home, not like visitors, but family. The pictures placed online were accurate. The unit was even nicer than the pictures portrayed. We had the best time and are booking there again this year. The Islander was fabulous!!! Would recommend again and again!
