This beach front vacation condo rental is located in Destin Florida along the Emerald Coast. Condo rental #607 accommodates up to 6 people with a king in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds in the guest bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Destin's Beach is just steps away with a beautiful view from your private balcony. All units are non-smoking.This vacation rental has recently been updated to include new living room furniture, freshly painted kitchen, and new plantation shutters in both bedrooms.

Room 607 was everything we needed and more! It was a great family get away. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. The condo was not too far from great shopping!! Thank you everyone involved in our stay! We will be back next year (or sooner!).

Awesome
Because of condiotions beyond our control we have not been able to take a vacation since 2003, the last time we were at the Islander. We were so excited to get there and when we arrived we were so impressed with the updates and the overall cleanliness and modern look of the place. The staff was very friendly, extremely kind and helpful and always had a smiling face. The room was perfect and very clean. It was better than we had rememered. We were there a very short 9 nights and we are already excited about coming back next year. Thank you.

Islander Rental
The condo itself was clean. There were some maintenance issues with the building itself that should have been addressed before the busy beach season. Did not like the parking lot between the building and the ocean. Noise was an issue with condo renters next to us.

Beautiful beach!
I was happy with the Islander. It is a short walk to the beach but you can relax on the balcony and see the ocean well. Free beach chairs and umbrella were a nice perk. The condo was nice. The new furnishings were comfy for some beach reading. Grocery stores and shopping were close by. My wife is a vegetarian so we didn't eat out but the kitchen had all the basics and even a decent knife!
Staff at the Islander were very friendly and helpful. The grounds were lovely and the pool well kept up.
My only two complaints were the sound of leaf blowers at 8:00 am every morning from the hotel next door and the 10:00 am check out time.
The refurbished beach is stunning white sand and we saw dolphins most every day. Hope to return when the water is warmer for some snorkeling.

Frustrating
Unit #607 has been neglected far too long. Mattress compressed, no chairs in bedroom, Sofa uncomfortable and out of date, wall art is ancient, living room rug out of character with furnishings, Kitchen faucet drips, pantry door obstinate. We loved the location of the unit, but the entire unit looks as if the owners do not care about the appearance of their condo and the comfort of their renters.
