We have been staying at the Islander (different rooms) for 29 years so it is tradition for us. Our girls are now grown and they still love it! Of course with their husbands we can't all fit in one anymore! I love the view the most! I can sit in the living room and just look out or on the balcony. I love to sit on the balcony and read my devotions or just any book. I love to read. I can't take the sun any more, but you can see the pool from your room. And the beach view is beautiful! Now I can bring my grandchildren and they live it! Plenty of room!

We have been doing group trips to the Islander for about ten years now.
The Islander is like a home away from home. It will always be our accommodations in Destin.
The only problem was the bed comforter in the twin room. It had throw up on the under side. The staff came and got it and brought it back after a thorough washing. Also the blanket in the closet of the master bedroom had something white on it so I tossed it into the closet floor. I did not mention this to the staff.
This was the first time this has ever happened. I am confident it will be the last.
We did enjoy our stay very much. -

This was a great unit. It was very clean with a wonderful view. The people at the Islander were very helpful as well. The fact that it was that close to the beach with 2 refreshing pools and an amazing place to grill and spend time with our friends ever night made this one of the best group vacations we have every had. See you next year!

I loved the home, it had a great calming and soothing view to the beach! The service was also really good,everything overall was perfect. I would love to go back as soon as i can, and stay in the same place again for the vacations. I absolutely reocmmend it to anyone that would go stay in. The home and every service was Great!

Our condo was awesome. It was decorated nice and right by the elevator. We were supplied with a couple of rolls of t-paper in each bathroom. Paper towels and dishwasher soap to get us started. We had plenty of clean bath towels.
The new beach was beautiful! Umbrella and chairs were provided.
The location of our condo was close to all of our favorite restaurants and bars.
Can't wait to return!! -

We stayed at The Islander #609 and were completely happy with our condo rental experience. The was the first time we had ever rented a condo for a vacation and were very pleasantly surprised. We will not hesitate to rent a condo again and if we are going to Destin for our vacation, we will most certainly choose The Islander!

This was our first "family" vacation with our grown children and their families. It was so enjoyable. We enjoyed the beautiful beach every day and the wonderful restaurants at night. Our condo was fabulous. The view was breathtaking. We also enjoyed the pool. We can't wait to visit again next year!

great place to take kids and family, enjoyed the karaoke on Monday nights, employees are helpful, place is clean. We have been guest at the Islander for 3 yrs in a row. This is vacation spot forever...

This unit is beautiful. Fresh modern paint colors, nice furniture, large tv, comfortable beds(love the comforters on them), big master bath! Very clean. Great view off the balcony! Wonderful that beach chairs and umbrella are included...makes this unit a top value!!
