My family held a double wedding at the location. The site served perfectly for and time leading up to the event. Couldn't have asked for more. We received immediate response to any questions that arose regarding the site.

The Palazzo Del Sol is beautiful. It is very clean and new, the decor is lovely, it really makes you feel like you are on a luxurious vacation.
The floor plan layout is a bit odd: the kitchen, living room and master bedroom suite (which is spacious and fabulous - huge living area inside this bedroom, and huge bathroom and closet) are all on the top floor. Their are two other bedrooms on the bottom floor, one with a King bed and small day bed in it and the other bedroom has a full bed, both have their own bathrooms. There are also bunk beds in the closet of the downstairs King bedroom, kind of awkward but for kids it is okay. Both of the downstairs bedrooms have doors leading out to the yard.
The yard area is so perfect for a party/wedding or just a fun time. We had our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception in the yard and then had our ceremony on the beach in back of the house. It was so easy for guests to just walk up from the beach to the yard. Perfect venue!
We did have some power issues, the band kept blowing fuses towards the end of the night (we had asked if they needed generators and they said no, we ended up getting two of them anyway, but should've gotten a few more generators to make sure we didnt run out of power). If you get enough generators for your party needs you should be fine.
Also, in my opinion the house actually sleeps 10. There is a day bed and a toddler bed that they count as beds (i think they say it sleeps 12 on the listing), but the day bed is in the King bedroom so unless you want your child to sleep in the room with you, I wouldn't really count it. Same with toddler bed. It is tiny and in the full bedroom.
Those few small things are worth noting but did not have a negative effect on our trip at all. All in all this was a perfect spot and we couldn't have been happier with having our wedding here. We had a wonderful wedding in a very beautiful venue. Thank you Palazzo! -

We loved this house so much! It was very clean and very maintained ! The pool and yard was so great too! My family and I were all very blessed to stay in such a gorgeous house! It was perfect! No complaints !!

This was the perfect location for a private beach wedding. We stayed at the house for a few days before the big day and the homey feel that was wrapped around the elegance of Palazzo Del Sol was all our daughter needed to relax before the wedding. The ocean views are spectacular and stretch of beach was very private. We had an absolutely lovely time.

We could not have asked for a better experience and location to house our special day. From the day we went to look at rentals to the day we held our wedding, this location is one that I still talk about with friend, family, and community. We both live in Fort Walton Beach, FL and knew we wanted to have a beautiful beach wedding and wanted that "Special Place" that we would never forgot. We absolutely loved the location and left an everlasting impression that we will never forgot. I owe Linda for being there for us and taking care of everything for us. She made our special day very special for us. Thank you again Linda!!! We hope to come back and celebrate our 1 year anniversary at Palazzo Del Sol...

We rented Palazzo Del Sol for our daughter's wedding. It was a perfect place for an event with a lovely lawn right out to the beach so the combination of a beach wedding and reception at the house couldn't have worked out better. I would defintely recommend this as an event house but no so much as a vacation rental. The stairs a very steep and overall assessibility is less than perfect.

The house is lovely, a little odd in it's layout, but has been well stocked for a successful vacation. The closeness to the beach is ideal and the pool is perfect for our needs. But Donna, she was so helpful and kind during the entire process, even afterwards. She found and is returning an old hat, much loved since 1997.

We had our wedding just out on the beach and it was beautiful. Following the wedding we walked back up to the house and had the reception in the backyard. It was a very beautiful house and fit our needs perfectly for the wedding and reception.

Lovely home for wedding and reception!
Fabulous location!
Things we noticed:
- No outside lighting back of house our first night due to breakers but we had no written directions to check that out.
- Missing light bulbs in several lamps throughout house.
- Not enough bedrooms for house size.
- Kitchen lacked useful utensils needed.
- No DVD player in entire house, so had to bring our own.
- Boat Garage door did not work - stayed up.
- Major problems with homeowner's association president about location of ceremony on beach. Ask our wedding planner, Shelby Peaden.
- East Pass Realty overbooked 2 of the 3bedroom condos @ East Pass Towers. This was stress not needed the day before the wedding. Very dissatisfied friends who had their reservations & confirmation # in a 3 bedroom unit. They were moved to a 2 bedroom unit that was in very poor condition. In fact, a family walked in on them during the night. Unbelievable!
- Parking is a nightmare for vendors.
Donna, agent, @ East Pass Realty was very nice in trying to help us with guests overbookings @ East Pass Towers. She sent maintenance man for outside lighting problems @ Palazzo del Sol on Friday to reset breaker. We could have done this if we'd had directions to tell us what to do. -

The lady who handle the stay, Donna, was a pleasure. She really went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. The house was great. the only thing was the air conditoning was not very good downstairs (bedrooms). I would deffinetly stay there again...
