South CarolinaGood Stay in Destin with a Beautiful View
Left on 04/19/2012 for a stay in April 2012
We enjoyed our stay in Destin at Waterview towers. The door code to get into the building was a little difficult and took a few times to work sometimes. The beach is not kid friendly, it has a sea wall, so you don't really get to walk down into the water. We drove to a nice public beach about 5 minutes away on most of the days we were there. The condo was large and fit our large family with no problems. We really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The master bathroom could use a few updates, but the master bedroom was very nice and had a fantastic view of the water.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Waterview Towers. My friends brought their bikes along to use, but I did not have a bike. The maintenance man that works in the building was very gracious to let me use his bicycle the entire time of the trip. He was always available to help out with whatever we needed. The condo was beautiful and clean, which made our trip the best. The pool and the whirlpool was amazing. We stayed a week and had the best time ever. I would absolutely return to this location.

Enjoyed the week stay. The view of the East Pass with boating activity and sunsets are some of the best.

Mentone, ALSeems Like Coming Home @ Waterview Towers!
Left on 07/29/2010 for a stay in June 2010
We liked this rental even tho we really did not need three bedrooms with only the two of us. The view, of course, is fantastic! We like Waterview Towers, but this particular condo right over the pool was somewhat noisy. Of course we normally go in august after school is back in session. But because of the oil spill, we went early before the booms were put into place. So as seniors with grown kids, we have to account for the noise of kids which normally doesn't bother most people. Everything was clean, plenty of towels, nice furniture, good mattress on the bed. Most of the lights were out in the bathroom, so husband collected from other bathroom and got enough bulbs so I could see. When the unit is cleaned it needs to checked for light bulbs needed, etc. Brand new SS appliances in the condo - so great! We have stayed in either East Pass Towers or Waterview Towers for over 20 years. If there was not a condo available in either of the two buildings, we simply would not come to Destin, but wait until a vacancy. It is the best place for privacy, uncrowded beaches and a fantastic view. (wish I was there right now!!) Oh--too long check in time. Always too long, every single year...even if only person there to check in. Why can't info be at the condo and the door and gate code #s emailed the day before travel?

We were moved to #303 after the unit we originally rented smelled of cigar smoke. While this unit has beautiful views, it is in need of some tlc. There were holes in the walls. The bathtubs both had mold both in the tub and on the shower curtains. The unit smelled stale and was just unwelcoming. Love the location and amenities but just not this unit.

Tupelo, MSdisappointed with beach access
Left on 09/24/2009 for a stay in July 2009
The room was great but all the literature stated that the property was beach front. Well there was a small strip of sand behind the condo but the beach area was a walk away. What was behind the condo was rocks as we were on the "jettys." We were traveling with 6 small children and we had to climb over rocks and walk approximately 1/2 mile down the beach to actually get to "real beach." The condo is located in the harbor bay so the water is kind of smelly and dirty and no waves.
