Completely remodeled in 2009. Beautiful unit decorated in neutral colors. Cream ceramic tile through out the unit. New cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless appliances in kithcen.Flat screen tv at bar area for viewing from kitchen or dining room area. Living room has cream leather sofa, love seat and chair, glass top coffee table and end tables and large flat screen tv. Master bedroom has dark wood furniture with are pink and green linens. Second bedroom has light wood furniture with blue linens. Queen bed and bunk with full size bed on bottom and twin on top in second bedroom. My kids were skeptical about going up 14 floors but when they saw the gorgeous view from the huge balcony their doubts were quelled. Room #1401 was beautiful and comfortably furnished, although all the furniture made space in the dining room and kids bedroom a little cramped. But the kids loved the bedroom that had bunkbeds plus a double bed. Three huge T.V.s graced the bedroom with a bonus T.V. in the kitchen. Upon our arrival the condo was spotlessly clean. We arrived after hours so a security guard had to check us in which took about 20 minutes but he and the rest of the staff were very nice. The grounds were also beautiful with two very nice pools only a few steps away from the fabulous beach. Our only complaint with the grounds was that the basketball court was broken and the staff thought it would be fixed right away but it wasn't. There was an awful lot of seaweed washing in to the beach but otherwise the waters were very clear and calm.
We had fun boogie boarding (you can rent the boards from Edgewater) and playing beach volleyball. Beach chairs were free for guests.
The location of Edgewater is very convenient to the main road (Hwy. 98) and to shopping, restaurants and attractions. I would highly recommend staying there. -

I will stay in this unit every time i come to Destin if it is open. Couldnt ask for a better stay.
