Apollo is an incredible family reunion and corporate retreat beach property located one block from the crystal emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico in Destin, Florida. This property will accommodate 26 guests and has six suites with private baths and five bunk beds for children and teenagers. The custom pool is 12ft by 24ft and can be heated during the holidays or early spring .Adjacent to the pool is a stand alone hot tub.

Holiday Rates: Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year Weekly- Only - $3,500
To reserve a date and property a completed contract (which will be sent via email) and 1/3rd of rental payment is required at booking. The last 2/3 payment is due 60 days prior to your date of occupancy. All payments and taxes can be charged via credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover).
Standard fees such as administration, cleaning and damage insurance will be added to the rental agreement.
Reservation Cancellation Policy: If a cancellation occurs within 90 days of the booking, the security deposit will not be refunded. However, if we are able to rebook the property for the advertised rate your down payment, less $129.00 will be refunded.

The first thing I can say is that everything in the description listed is accurate. The layout of the home is excellent with plenty of room to gather together or plenty of room to be apart. The rooms were all very nice with either decent or deluxe private bathrooms. The built-in bunk beds in the master suite were twin sized (bigger than they look in the photo).The kitchen is large and easy to cook in, with 2 dishwahers and plenty of counter space for serving large meals. The house is showing some wear and tear (which is to be expected), but aside from a dishwasher and dryer that worked only moderately well, this did not detract from the overall experience. The house is tile floor, wood floors, granite countertops, etc., which is beautiful, but also very noisy. So don't plan on sleeping in if you have early risers in your group. Even though the dimensions of the pool are accurtately listed, I was shocked at the small size of the pool, considering it is for up to 26 people. To my surprise though, this was never an issue, as not all 26 people were swimming at one time. The location of the house is truly a very short walk to the beach. Unfortunately, the house rental only includes 2 beach set-ups (a total of 4 beach chairs with 2 umbrellas), and rental of each additional pair of chairs from the beach service is $200 a week. It would have been nice to have some additional folding chairs at the house to take to the beach. We did rent a golf cart from the rental company to take a handicapped family member and our stuff to the beach, but there is no where to park the golf cart, which complicated things. The staff was good to work with. We had a couple of maintenance issues, which were handled fairly well. While it would be nice to be right on the beach, the price point of this rental along with its location, make it a pretty good alternative.

Our second stay with Beach Reunion. We had 22 family members this year for 8 nights in June. We had plenty of space and the house was nicely appointed. The kids enjoyed the pool and game areas and the golf cart for beach trips was great. Jim and his staff were attentive to our needs and requests and we will definitely stay with them again next year! I would recommend the apolo home and beach reunions to anyone. I traveled with a high school senior class and used this rental. It was perfect in every way. Any requests we had were accomodated and most importantly, our bus broke down the morning we were to check out and Beach Reunion and our homes owner were so accomodating and helpful as our departure was pushed back 10 hours. I plan to bring my family to this home next year (2013).

For our 7th annual Couple's retreat we visited Destin, FL and stayed in the apollo beach house. on a positive note the house is beautiful and was able to comfortably accommodate six couples. The beach setting was perfect for our couples' retreat. The aqua blue ocean and the fine sugar sand was breath taking; the owner was very friendly and helpful in meeting our needs. overall we had a great experience. The only negative experience was one of the dishwashers and washers were not working. I would recommend the apollo beach house to any one who has a large group and desires a great tropical experience in Destin, FL. I also recommend the Olin Marler's Hannah Marie Dolphin Watch and Destin History Cruise as well as the Bistro Bijoux fine dining restaurant. The food was excellent.
