This Haven is not just for Snowbirds! With three stories of sprawling comfort and a private heated swimming pool, it’s also the perfect nesting place for large or multiple families on vacation. The ground floor has two bedrooms with lots of bunks and sleeping space for the kids, while the parents can get away to one of the two master suites on the second floor. Grab some quiet time in the third-floor sitting room, or catch the warm Gulf breezes from the wraparound veranda, large second floor balcony, or third floor deck. This property has a Saturday to Saturday requirement during Spring Break and Summer seasons. There is a four night minimum all other times.

The owners provided us with quick responses to our questions when we were initially considering this residence. Check-in at Newman-Dailey was easy and quick. We appreciated the delivery of a fruit basket by Newman-Dailey. The house was very clean on arrival. It had all the amenities we needed. We cooked in a lot due to our one month stay. We have never had a home this well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The wrap around porch and pool area were well used for relaxing. The house is located in a quiet residental area, within a short walk to the beach. You could walk to the stores and movie theatre, but crossing highway 98 could be tricky. Golf courses were a short drive from the residence. There were restaurants and pubs along the beach within walking distance from the house. The location was also great for bicyling. We would definitely consider renting this house again. A minor item we noticed, was that the living room furniture was starting to show it's age. Appreciated the wide screen television in the living room, that wasn't shown on the website.

I always received such helpful service from everyone at Newman-Dailey. This was a first for our family and the families we went with! The house was very well stocked! We found everything we needed in the kitchen and plenty of towels for all! Two things about the house that was not to our liking was: The grill(outside) was not cleaned out after the last family there and the shower curtain in the master bath had mold on it. Other than that the house was very clean. The location was perfect! Not a long walk to the beach and close to shopping and dinning! Loved having the pool and the beach was only three blocks if that! The least thing we liked was that although Destin is a beautiful beach and town, it was a little to busy for us at this time of year. My family and the other families agreed that it was a great vacation!

We had a great vacation staying at the Snowbird Haven. It's very close to beach access and having the private pool was great. The layout of the house worked very well for the 12 of us that stayed.

Our stay at 'Haven' was quite lovely as the location, proximity to the beach, shopping, golf and restaurants is just perfect. We stay there for several weeks so how the kitchen is equipped is very important to us. It is very well equipped and everything is easy to use. The house is a good size and the bedrooms are fine, except the visible bed linens are very tired looking, the queen bed on the main floor had a broken frame and the carpets really need to be cleaned. The living area is generous in size and the table and chairs in the eating area is great. The living room sofas are very poor and quite uncomfortable- too well used. The back yard and front porch are very nice and the parking more than sufficient. We always enjoy our stay and will return to Destin next year. There is a strange smell in the house upstairs, we think it comes from the upstairs furnace but we kept it at bay by using the ceiling fans at low speed. A little attention to the inside would go a long way!

The quality, cleanliness and size of the house were all great. Linens, dishes, furnishing, decor and pool are everything you could expect. The house is a block and a half from the beach. Easy access to the beach and parking was available.
If you must have a unit on the beach, this house is not for you. If you want a great house, this is the house for you.
Newman-Daily check in and other services were easy and quick. -

We had a wonderful family holiday gathering. Destin is midway for family from Florida, Texas and Tennessee. We have rented some three houses over Thanksgiving before - and two with my husband and I - through your agency.
We have a cottage in Upstate New York that we rent when we are not there.The rental agency has many stipulations as to kitchen furnishings, etc. We are required to have 1 1/2 times the number of plates, etc. We cooked a turkey at Snowbirds' Haven and did not have a large fork, carving knife, or spatula.
We had a wonderful time. -

Great house with plenty of space, a nice pool, and veranda. Several blocks to all the major Destin amenities. Short three block walk to the beach. Great beach area with lots of space, great sand, and people.
