A comfortably spacious room with two Queen size beds. Conveniently located on the ground floor. Each bed is beautifully adorned and has a pillow top mattress. Soothing sunflower yellow colors decorate the walls. This room is fully equipped with a mini-frig and a microwave, a toaster and a coffee pot, an iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer. Room also has a 32” flat screen TV and a DVD player. Wireless Internet is in the room. The entire room is tiled and has lighted ceiling fans. Adjoining is a fully equipped room with a King size bed and soothing sunflower colored walls.

The Beachside inn is a wonderful place to stay if you happen to be taking your furry babies... We had a wonderful time and the staff is awesome..they really go out of your there way to take care of you..
.. The beds are to die for, the free breakfast is the best around and not to mention the dog park is just around the corner.The beach is just a few feet away,you don't feel like you are across the street, and it is centrally located. We are planning a trip in the fall without the fur babies and this is the place for us... -

Kelly at the the Beachside Inn upgraded us to the condo based on the size of our family and our needs. This sturned out to be a great idea! We had an excellent location, easy access and enough room for our family to function. Of course we have been to Destin and the Beachside Inn a number of times so we knew to expect great views, beautiful beaches and an easy going and relaxing vacation. Kelly's personal attention enhanced our already great vacation!

Manager Kelly could not be nicer,and she is on top of everything there.The room was nice and clean and relatively quiet.The bagel shop in the front is great,we enjoyed getting our breakfast there in the mornings and had some great sandwiches from there one day as well. The pool area is very nice and we spent some enjoyable time there.If I could improve 3 things: A)The beds were too high and the wood frames had sharp corners,lower the beds 10-12 inches and round the corners off on the frames.B)lots of hard surfaces,chairs need some padding for comfort C)Flat screen LCD TVs,the Panasonic Tau models are okay,but everyone is used to the Lcds these days,and they are cheap now. Beachside could purchase 20 plus units for wholesale prices. One more thing:parking is a problem at night,but I have no solution to that except strict enforcement,and who wants that! Thanks

The condo was a very nice facility, well appointed,and well laid out. However the most disappointing thing was location. Our daughter's wedding party had reserved nearly every room at the Beach Side Inn, and we were told we would be right behind it ... just walk out the back of the Inn and your there. Not!! Unit 111 was a block and a 1/2 away this was most inconvenient for our family and our handicapped son. Secondly the supplies provided ( toilet paper, paper towels,trash bags and other supplies were woefully inadequate , and no place to ask for extra ). I'll certainly alert other family and friends as to these short comings.

We stayed here for my husband's 40th bday and brought our small dog with us. The property was clean and the bed was so comfortable! The staff - edpecially Peggy - were amazing! So helpful and nice - they made every effort to make us feel welcome (including Peanut, our puppy) - really above & beyond! We got free breakfast voichers for coffee/OJ and a danish - and to our surprise, when we went down to the cafe at Camille's to redeem them, it was homemade muffins, cinnamon rolls, fresh squeezed OJ and delicious coffee (starbucks has nothing on Camille's :)! There was beach access directly across the street (we could see the ocean from Camille's) and even had a pavillion with restrooms & showers to rinse off on our way back to the hotel. Its located on an area of the beach without too many large, crowded hotels, so we easily found a spot on the sand, but not too far from Pompano Joes. They also have a hot tub and 2-level pool on property that didn't reek of chlorine the way some do, and was clean - really clean - with the tiles scrubbed and the furniture in good condition. Its also close to all the shopping/restaurants on 98, but far enough away to be out of the hustle & bustle!! Very quiet & relaxing - can't say enough good things @ Beachside Inn!! :) :)

We had a great experience while staying at this property. The room was very clean and quaint! Beds were totally comfy. Loved it! This property sits directly across the street from the beach. Great location. The pool was great also. Very kid/family friendly. The complimentary breakfast was delicious.

This year there were a lot of issues. First, they gave our room to someone else and did not have a room available. Wanted us to sleep in one room one night and then move the next day. I told them that they might need to move the people from our room since I had the reservation since March and booked that specific room. Well, then they were able to move us to a different room, that was equal. There was no compesation for them giving away our room or waiting about an hour to figure out how to fix the problem. Then had issues with our room being cleaned, or not. Out of 7 days, at least 3 of the days I had to go to the desk to ask them when or why they hadn't cleaned our room (this was usually right before 5 when the office closes and things should have been done by then). Unbfortunately int he room we were in this time, the beds were not very comfortable. My husband and I tossed and turned. That being said it is very close to the beach, which is why we like this place. We got breakfast each morning at the coffee shop. We stayed here last year and had a great experience. Was not as thrilled this year...

Everyone I came into contact with was gr8. The beds and room were fantastic. Love the pool area and convenience to the beach. The on sight restaurant and bar were also above average as always. I come to Destin at least one weekend per month during the summer and try to stay at the Beachside Inn. The only thing I had against my stay this time is that the price was about $75 a night more than I've ever paid. Other than that my stay was excellent and I do recommend this place all the time especially to my friends with pets.

My husband, 6#yorkie and I had a wonderful experience at this Inn. . We will definitely stay at this pet friendly Inn when we come back. The girls that run the office are the sweetest, most accomodating clerks that we have met. They had plenty of "doggie walk bags" and we never saw the grounds cluttered or messed up. The Inn was immaculately cleaned and not a complaint in the world. My only complaint was that we wanted to stay a few more days there but work back in Dallas was calling. The cleaning staff, including Elvis was absolutely wonderful and thorough.

From the time we arrived until the we departed the experience was spectacular. Located steps away from the beach, onsite restaurant and cafe, pool and hot tub and best yet, the staff! You know someone by who you associate with. The staff recommendations of places to see and things to do were always good. The food at the cafe was very good and reasonably priced. The muffins for breakfast and the coffee were a great way to start the day. If you need anything, Jessica and her staff will take care of it. Oh, the Chihuahua's loved it too! My fiance' and I have two picky Chihuahua's and they let us know they didn't want to leave. Pet friendly properties are hard to find. This helped us pick Beachside Inn.

Beachside Inn was wonderful from the start, from the great location, welcoming staff, clean room- I can't say enough. Loved the decor and size of the room. Pet friendly so we were able to bring our furry baby. Quiet too!
We will surely be return guest. Thanks to Eunice for all her help with our group reservations. -

The Beachside Inn is a great place to stay. The price is good, and the environment is quaint. Pillow top mattresses provide a great nights sleep after a wonderful day at the beach. It is definitely our favorite hotel in Destin!

I have stayed here numerous times and it always a pleasant experience. My only complaints were some of the electrical outlets didn't work and the cleaning guy didn't do a very good job on the floors.

I was on a lecture tour in the South, then took a couple days to peruse Destin, FL. I happened on this inn and had a wonderful stay in my room. Loved the tile floor (no yucky carpet). Loved the earth-friendly lighting, though the lights above the vanity were a bit dim for me. Loved the cleanliness of the room overall, plus the pocket doors, which save space. They had just replaced the mattresses, so the bed felt wonderful (and I enjoyed the tall height). The room had "real" furniture in it, not the usual fare. The front desk personnel were great. Loved the proximity to the beach --- very convenient to shopping, restaurants, etc. Found the wifi to be slow, but it worked. Did have one issue: I did not desire the maids to enter the room, but they did anyway. I had left out prescription drugs, an expensive laptop, camera and more, so imagine my chagrin when I returned to the room and found that (a) they had been there; and (b) they had left the curtain open!

Great personal service. Great location; convenient to beaches, dining, Destin fun spots. Great on-premises restaurant. Scooter rental available... Clean, roomy and a great value to boot. And small enough that you recognize and are recognized... but without giving up any "privacy."
It's my regular choice in Destin. -

Hotel room was nicely appointed and clean. Location is very convenient to the beach, grocery stores and shopping. Outside appearance was quaint with overfilled planters of colorful flowers. Reminded me of a tropical island hotel. Hotel was at full capacity and clientele was well behaved. No loud parties, etc. Very peaceful. Parking for guest was plentiful.
We had 4 adults and one child in one room for two nights. Room service was overwhelmed on Sat and did not clean our room. We went to front desk to get fresh towels in late afternoon. On Sunday morning we were out of toliet paper and front desk was closed! Another guest who was leaving gave us a roll of toilet tissue. There were no kleenex in the room although there was a dispenser for them.
The downside was minor compared to the overall experience. I would definately stay there again. Based on the rate (which is not cheap) I just expected better service from staff. I think perhaps they were short on staff which is understandable. -

Arrived prior to check in time, room was ready, except floor was still wet (pleasure not to have carpeting which can hold germs). We only had to wait about 20 minutes. Room 107 was very clean and accommodated us very well. Loved the big screen TV and the beds were very comfortable. We were there to attend a wedding which originally was to be held on the beach with the reception by the pool. Unfortunately the weather was terrible and the bridal party and guests were able to use the restaurant for the ceremony and reception. Location was great too. Really enjoyed our stay.

THE STAFF AT THE MOTEL WERE EXTEMELY NICE. THE LOCATION WAS GREAT, EVERYTHING WAS VERY CLEAN. ENJOYED THE COFFEE SHOP WHERE THE FOOD WAS GOOD AND THE STAFF SO... FRIENDLY! ALSO LOVED THE POOL AREA AND AXCESS TO THE BEACH WAS SO EASY AND CLOSE.
WE ALSO RENTED THE SCOOTERS THAT WERE ON SITE AND HAD A BLAST! THIS WAS OUR FIRST VISIT DUE TO A WEDDING, AND I'M READY TO COME BACK NEXT YEAR!! -

We drove from our hometown of Texas to Destin we were very tired and Crystal Beach was a nice find. We were greeted with a warm friendly smile.The Inn was was very well maintained-the room was clean and fresh. So surpried we were for the room had a small kitchenette which included a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. It was just a short walk to the beach. The continental breakfast was a nice feature as well as the resturant. We only stayed two nights but wish we could of stayed longer. Our next visit will be a longer stay at this Inn.

The hotel was well kept and VERY clean. We did have some trouble with our reservation...while one employee was rather nasty about it another went above and beyond to help solve the problem. We use a hotel every year for one night until we can get into our rented house. We loved the location and the clean rooms and also the privacy of the pool. We will return again next year.

My stay at the beachSide Inn Was awonderful experience. Even before me and my family I felt so welcomed. Eunice, one of the workers there was so helpful to us. She was so great. I new before we arrived that the stay was going to be great. We were their for our grandsons Chris & Ashtchin Kilmers wedding. Thank you for all the help. My daughter-in-law and son drove my husband & I down to Florida. My daughter-in-law has stage 4 liver cancer. Had a wonderful time. the beds were so comfortable, Wanted to bring one home(haha) We are ready to come again, will stay with youall again. Beautiful Beaches.

This is a small and comfortably updated motel property just across the street from the beach but yet still conveniently located just a few miles from the bustle of Destin. The rooms are large and tiled. A great feature is the large combo dressing/vanity area that can be closed off with a sliding door from the bedroom. The toilet and bath/shower are also separated by another door allowing multiple family members to get ready at the same time. The property allows dogs in certain rooms and there is plenty of grassy areas for potty breaks. I was really impressed with their on-site restaurant which had exceptional food and great wine. There is also a pool which we did not use due to our short stay. Overall excellent laid back family motel!

to begin with, was put right next to the elevator. too noisy, so ask to be moved. put us across the street in a condo. bathroom floor was so dirty i had to scrub it on my hands and knees.we had to leave 2 days early because my friend was sick. did not offer to return our money for those two days.

I have been staying at the Beachside Inn for the last 5 years and have never experienced any problems during my stays. The staff have always gone beyond the normal to make my stays pleasant and enjoyable. The atmosphere and location are convenient and soothing. I am frequently in the area and make it a priority to contact Eunice at Beachside Inn to make sure I have somewhere to stay and she always accomodates my needs. You won't be dissatisfied if you chose this location as your vacation area.
