The House is located on the best and quietest part of the Beach between Destin and Panama City - this is a aAa. The house is comfortable but needs some renovation. The chairs on the two balconies and the BBQ on the parking lot are absolutely rusted through.

We have stayed at Landon By The Sea several times. Always a pleasure and relaxing time with great restaurants within walking distance up and down the beach. Beautiful and well taken care of property. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee each morning on the screened porch. Great place to just kick back and enjoy the emerald waters of the Gulf.

The location is great, walk to Pompano Joe's, Wale's tail (fantastic sunsets) and Golf at SeaScape. However, the place was worn...in need of TLC and had repairs in progress while we were there...smelled of dry wall dust. Should be better once completed. Couldn't beat the price...

The location is great, The view was Excellent and The Beach was awesome!
With that being said, lets get down to issues...
I am not so sure this place was cleaned or inspected very well before we got there. It had an old stale smell and the floors were very dirty. If you were to walk bare foot your feet would be black (our neighbors said the same about their unit). The pull out bed in the living room looked uncomfortable. I had to run to walmart to purchase an infatable matress because my son refused to lay on it another night. I suggest an upgrade on the sofa sleepers. There was a leak in the the second bath room sink that we were not aware of. All the towles under the sink were filthy, soaked in water and stained and smelled of mew dew. I don't think I would rent this place again...It didn't feel clean and disinfecting and cleaning a house is the last thing you want to do on your vacation.
Be prepared to burn candles and buy plugins along with house hold products to make your stay a little more comfortable. -

The house was not clean. I had to borrow a mop from the owner...And funny when I asked to borrow the mop she never said a word...I think I would have asked if there was a problem. I had to buy cleaner to clean the bathrooms and we had to wash all the linens before we used them. To top off the fact that the house wasn't clean two days of our trip we couldn't use our patio for painters. Who hires painters to paint patio's on 4th of July? For over $400 per night I expected the house to at least be clean. Not worth the money !!! More like a Motel 6

Great set up and as close to the water as you could want. The unit provided a lot of space for the money. It is being renovated and some more still needs to be done, but the unit is in good shape over all. I have no problem recommending it to others and we could easily stay here again. Very convenient location that allows you to go into Destin or explore eastward to Santa Rosa Beach, Grayton, Seaside, etc

Very clean and updated. I would reccommend you get the refridge fixed in the unit I was in, it barely cooled. Beds very comfortable. Screens were torn, I suggest you cut the torn screen out rather than leaving it torn, would look less tacky and like you were planning on repairing it. Other than those two things we had a great time! very comfortable and roomy for our group!

The place was very clean. All the amenities were there and operational. The house is a little older and we could tell that it is getting updated which was nice. Overall it was great. Places very close next to it were a lot more expensive.

My wife and 3 teens stayed for Memorial Day Weekend. We have stayed in the area many times and booked this one at the very last minute. The price was very reasonable compared to other places we have stayed. Of course the Gulf and the beaches are always beautiful. The owner was very gracious and easy to deal with. No hitches at all. A side note...Every morning and every afternoon a school of cow nosed rays swam right in front of the house. They are very docile, and we were able to wade into the school and watch them glide right past us. Very nice experience. My only minor negative, and it is very minor, is that the screened porch is a little small making it a bit uncomfortable for all of us to gather out there. But again, that is a very minor quibble. I will definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time. The townhouse was right on the beach!! We saw dolphins & sea turtles swimming in the ocean. We were very close to everything!! We would stay here again!! The townhouse was a little dated but when you look at the view out of the living room window or the bedroom balcony it makes up for that!!

We stayed in Landon 3 last year and wanted to come back this year. We booked Landon 2 because we were supposed to have some friends join us and it was available. The location is the best part. Walk right out onto the beach. We met the new owners during our stay. Updates are scheduled for the property and I can only see our next stay being even better!
