We have stayed at the Capri location for the last 7 years. three were in 105 for at least three months each time. This year a new unit came available and until the last of March we stayed in 106. The last week we had to move over to our original resevation(105) for one week. What a difference a year made for the wear and tear of the unit. The locations are the greatest and the Harmony Beach employees including John, Angie, Sharon are all great. I can only give 105 an average for the following reasons. With a little up date, stove needs replacing for safety reasons, remove the upper bulk head in kitchen as my husband hit his head on it several times (that will open up the overall look),counter top needs replacing and the carpet. The beach is no place for carpet unless an area carpet. We removed are shoes but I don't think the other guests did. With all that said I would stay in this unit if minor changes were made. I don't see alot of money having to be spent (the floor the costly one). The view from the chairs provided gives you a place to enjoy the sun. Lots of friendly (snowbirds) makes the atmosphere wonderful and the sunsets are to die for. We will be returning to the Capri and hopefully will enjoy many more years to come. The owners have a little bit of heaven that they share. Don't change that. Thank you.

I've stayed at the Capri several times and what a great way to turn a business trip into a more memorable trip. Being able to see the ocean from the front door, chair service and walking right onto the beach is worth every penny! The layout of the property is a real look at what Destin was like before hurricanes knocked down most of the classic old houses and motor courts along old Hwy. 98! I will stay there every chance I get an you should too. There are great restaurants near by but it's nice to have a full kitchen as well. Do yourself a favor and stay here!!!

My wife and I have been staying at the Capri for only three years now but feel like it is our family hideway. The suites are comfortable and clean and beach is beautiful and private.
Conveniently located near to shopping and entertainment but without riding an elevator 8 floors to enjoy the outdoors.
We've never had an unpleasant experience and love the secure parking!
We strongly recommend the Capri for families and especially those with young families since the beach is so convenient for toting all the toys kids require!
We look forward to our next stay this fall!

Warm,welcoming staff from my first phone inquiry & throughout the stay. The unit was comfortable, clean and quiet - loved that we could park in front of the unit, and that we were literally just steps to beach and the turquoise waters.

Stayed here 1 night. Not impressed at all. 105 was dirty. Stains all in carpet. Couch bed was not comfortable and dishes need to be upgraded. However it was a short walk to a beautiful beach.

we loved the stay at the capri stayed in 117 for three nights was not ready to come home so they made it possible to stay in 105 had a blast ,Sharon was the best,Thanks Harmony Beach this was our third year and we will be back. Clean,and roomy.

The staff was friendly. Its great to be right on the beach but the unit was in need of some heavy cleaning and updating. This was our second visit to the Capri because we enjoyed it so much the first time. Unit 110 was much nicer. I will request that unit again! All are individually owned!

We have stayed here previously of the years. It is one of our favorites. You can't beat the location, right on the beach with beach setups!
The unit was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We did not have reservations but were able to get in. The only complaint is the a/c was very loud in the bedroom area. -

We love coming to the Capri at least once every year and always stay in unit #105. It is always clean, well appointed and very comfortable _ our favorite unit! I'd recommend #105 to those that have not stayed there.
The staff at the Capri are friendly and helpful and the proximity to the beach make it our ideal vacation place. -

My husband and I decided to take a 'road trip' and happened upon the Harmony Beach by chance. We walked in and the ladies at the desk gave us several keys to see the rooms and told us to pick the room that we wanted. We chose 105. The rooms are older, but they were very clean and comfortable. Chairs were set up on the beach for us to enjoy. We loved the cozy feel of the whole place. The only negative thing was the green algae in the water and they certainly could not help that.We would definitely go back there.

Love this complex! we have stayed in several units and love them all!!! The only problem i had with this particular unit was a "bug" problem. Saw several roaches while we were there.

The service desk at check in was great. They were a nice group of people who were very helpful. When we got to the Capri we were amazed by its closeness to the beach and the location's convenience. The Capri is not too far from ANYWHERE; the beach is on one side and the town is on the other. It was perfect. The room size was nice, perfect for 2 people but it could be managable for 4. The responsibilities left up to the occupants were not hard; simply do your dishes (if you use them), take the trash out, and if you leave early then drop the key in the drop box. I will most certainly be coming back to the Capri by the Gulf again- I have not a single complaint about my stay at all. It was not a far walk from the front door to the beach, it's MUCH better to be this close than on the top floor of any condo.

Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We found you when we were married in Destin in 2006. We just got a chance to get back and enjoy. We look forward to staying with you again. I love the fact the beach is not far from our room and its gated. I didn't have to worry about my daughter playing right outside our door. We got to see dolphins right in front of the hotel and it was awesome. Thanks again.

We had a wonderful time! We were so close to the beach, shopping and dining - yet staying at the Capri was so quiet and relaxing.
The neighborhood was beautiful and the scenery amazing. We walked from our door straight to the beach. Day and night the place was beautiful.
Our condo was well equipped and clean. It made you feel very much at home.
The personnel were friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the air conditioning when we arrived and they sent someone right away to repair it.
We definitely recommend the Capri as a wonderful place to stay for a romantic vacation.
It was hard to leave, but we are planning our return very soon!

We have been staying at the Capri since 1997 and enjoy every Oct in the Sun. We have stayed in several units but really enjoy the flat screen tv and the updated bathroom in 105. The kitchen window is a plus feature, also. You can actually stand in the unit, look in the mirror on the wall, and see the water! It is nice to park the car, walk right in your unit and you're THERE. The short
distance to the deck and beach is great. We would never want to stay anywhere else!!! -

Me & my wife decided to get away for a few
days & I had heard of a place in Florida called
Destin. I'd heard of white sand beaches,
beautiful crystal green waters & a beautiful
ocean view. We drove from Dallas to Destin,
not knowing where we were going to stay.
Since this was a spontaneous, last minute trip,
we had done no research on hotels & such.
For some reason, something led us to this
hotel spot on the beach. It was meant to be
we just were lost and walked in office to ask
directions! We were greeted by the nicest folks
and they allowed us to view their property and
we fell in love! We decided to stay it was the
best choice! Our entire stay was great! They
catered to us as we were royalty! They
provided a great view with beach access with
free beach chairs and umbrellas. They were
also very helpful with suggestions for fun and
entertainment and places to eat! Very
beautiful,relaxing,helpful and fun. I would
definetely recommend this Harmony Beach
Vacation getaway----Joel in Dallas.
