We stayed in a friend's condo. We had a good view of the gulf. We enjoyed sleeping in and having breakfast leisurely. Immediately afterward, we headed to the beach. It was mid October. No crowds anywhere. The weather was absolutely beautiful the four days we were there. Rain one afternoon and we spent it at the upscale mall. Sixties in the morning and seventies in the afernoon. Perfect beach weather.

46 years ago we stayed at the old Capri by the Sea motel our first week together as man and wife. Through yrs of rearing two children and now with grandchildren from two yrs to twenty-one yrs and making sure that all have had the Capri experience we can honestly say that this place is still close to our hearts and remains just wonderful. With new and modern conveniences and the ever-remaining private beach...you are truly a place of rest,recreation, and recovery. We love Capri by the Gulf. The staff always welcomes us just as tho we are visiting them. Thank you!!!

No street to cross, no elevator or lobby to trapse through in a wet suit. Just open your door and there's the beach. The value for here can't be beat.

The rental was okay, but it was not worth the fee we were assessed. There is no longer a swimming pool, and there was not a deck with the units as most other rentals in the area had with their units. Destin in general has become more heavily populated with tourists than it was 12 years ago, which was the last time I visited. Hwy 98 was comparable to driving on the Las Vegas strip-- Congested. It's unlikely I'll ever visit there again.

I am sorry you were unhappy with your stay. We do have several condos that do offer amenities like a pool and private deck. Destin has become very busy in the summer, however I encourage you to come back in September, October, April, or May as the weather is just as beautiful and it is not as crowded. We hope you give Destin another chance!

the service is always great. we love the houses we have stayed in a few of them .they are very clean,just a short walk to the patio and down to the beach.They set up beach chair service.Very nice and helpful group .Really big thanks to Sharon.See you next year if not before.

We liked all the staff, everyone was friendly and vey helpful. Sharon gave us good advice on where to take our car for repair. We also liked all the other people staying there, 5 o'clock sunset happy hours were lots of fun.
The unit was everything we needed, really liked the walk in shower. The location of Capri was ideal, close to shopping and restaurants and we loved being so close to the ocean.
Thanks for the Wine and cheese night and also the pot luck. Great to mingle with staff and meet other folks. -

This was probably the 4th or 5th time we have stayed at the Capri. It is always clean. The staff is always helpful. The beach service was always on time. The beach attendant was aware of the surroundings and did the best to ensure that we were able to enjoy our time on the beach.
Can't wait to go back! -

If your looking for a quiet place to get away this is it. The location is perfect...just a few steps outside your door and your on the beach, which being a private beach it was never crowded. The room was great, had everything we needed..There is plenty of shopping and great places to eat nearby. I would recommend a stop at Destin Harbor for something to do. The staff here was also very friendly. Its a small place to stay but definately worth it!

My husband and I had such a great time at Capri By The Gulf. The condo was clean and in a great location, just steps from the private beach, or a nice deck to sit and have a drink or our coffee. It turned out to be a perfect place for us to enjoy getting away from lifes stress for a while.
The kitchen in the condo had everything we could possibly need even a blender, and crock pot which we did use to make a nice dinner, with it cooking while we were on the beach all day. We had high speed internet for our laptop and cable tv even in the bedroom too. And let me also say that the staff there were so nice and helpful to us.
When looking for a nice place to stay over the internet you have to worry about the photos of the place you see , not matching what you get when you arrive. If I may say so, the photos of Capri on the net, dont do it justice. To sum up our stay , would read Capri By The Gulf, A Beautiful,Private,Safe and Quiet, Beach Experience , with a Very Nice , Clean , And Well Equipped Condo in a Convenient Location.
Now that we are back to our daily grind of life , rest assured when we need to go to our happy place, we just close our eyes and were back at Capri by the gulf !!!
We will be back !

We had a wonderful experience with Harmony Beach Vacations and the Capri unit where we stayed (117). The condo was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed for a fantastic vacation experience. We will definitely return to stay in what we deemed "a little slice of beach heaven"!

This place truly exceeded my expectations! It's right on the beautiful Destin beach and everything else is just so convenient. The condo was clean and it felt like home. Check in and check out was a breeze. Staff was friendly and oh yes, the beach service was excellent. All you have to do is bring your drinks and towels and you are set for the day!

We stayed at Capri 117 at Capri By The Gulf for Father's Day weekend, and had an absolutely amazing time! The condo was steps from the ocean, and better than pictured on the website. We stayed two nights, and the condo was the perfect size for our family of three (two adults and a toddler). The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for the short stay, the bed and couch were super comfortable, and the huge shower was fantastic! We spent the majority of our time on the beach, where we got free beach service (two beach chairs and an umbrella set up each morning). We were also within walking distance of several places to eat, and within a short drive of the strip where all the attractions, shopping, and some of the best places to eat are located. I absolutely love the location of this condo, away from the high-rise condos and steps from the white sand and emerald waters! For the price, you will not find a better place! The staff is great to work with, very courteous and very speedy when it comes to check-in and check-out. They also offer excellent discounts. I almost want to keep the place a secret, because I do not want it to be completely booked the next time we plan a trip to Destin!

We spent a week here. Had a fantastic time. Condo was clean, well maintained. Staff was very friendly. If you want a quiet week at the beach, this is the place. Private beach, and condo came with beach service. that was nice, chairs and umbrella's every day.Only negative thing i can say is no swimming pool. But that was okay with us. We enjoyed the beach. Lunch and dinner on the deck overlooking the gulf.

It was an excellent view and easy access to the ocean. However, dissapointed that the managers are unable to refund or allow us to have additional days at a later time due to the fact of a family emergency and we had to leave 1 1/2 days early.

We really enjoyed our stay at your Capri on the Gulf facility. The rooms were very nice and immaculately clean. We really liked that the facility was gated and secure and that it had its own beach area.
Your front office personnel were very nice and extremely helpful. They answered all our questions thoroughly and gave us suggestions for local eating establishments.
You may want to post more and better pictures on the various websites that you are listed on. We came in thinking that we were renting an actual, separate cottage on the beach, instead of a unit in a one-level complex.
Also, when we were ready to go to bed the Friday night of our stay, we could hear the tv from the next unit through the wall. I don't feel that the renter of that unit had the volume up very high, I just think that the wall between the units was too thin....maybe if the tv hadn't been right up against the wall between the units?
Lastly, the toaster burned our toast....LOL....both mornings we used it, even though we lowered the setting the second morning!
Overall, our stay was absolutely wonderful and we will be using your Capri by the Gulf facility again in the future!! Thank you! -

Our Capri condo was furnished with everything we needed -a comfortable
bed, a lovely sitting area, high-speed computer access, privacy and it's located
on one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. The Capri was close to fine
restaurants and attractions like a state park just down the road and beach.
Within the Capri perhaps our favorite feature was its peace and serenity in a
beautiful ocean beach setting. We also liked the way the owners had
remodeled their unit especially the bath and sitting area. Our only regret was
that we could not stay any longer. Next time we plan to visit for at least a
week. -

The office staff was courteous and helpful. Unit 117 was clean, nice, and well furnished. A flat screen TV would be nice. The location was excellent for dining and shopping but it was quiet. We liked the ability to walk directly out onto the beach. We would have enjoyed a unit with a private deck.

Everyone from the check in person to the maintance man changing the air filters were very nice and helpful. Check in was fast and easy. The beach wasn't crowded at all. That's why we picked this place. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils needed. The place was very clean. The beach is steps away from your door. The only thing I would recommend is a extra roll of toilet tissue and more towels and wash clothes was needed. We brought 4 people total and had to wash the towels and buy toilet tissue. Other than those two things the stay was wonderful. If it was 2 or 3 people it would have been plenty. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

My husband and I found Capri by Gulf a great place to relax! We headed down to Destin for our 1yr Annv. and had a great time sitting on the beach in the beach chairs and umbrella provided. I really did like the very well equipped kitchen! Very clean rooms and only a few steps away from the beach. We will make sure we tell our friends and family about this great place. See you next year.

We had a great time on out vacation with the exception of our condo and the repairs needed. The remote for the T.V. didn't work even after we bought new batteries, the dishes and silverware were put up dirty from previous people,not all burners worked on stove, vent a hood didn't work so condo filled with smoke or steam, shower head sprayed water because it was loose, and the can opener was broken. I feel like I payed alot of money for the issue we had.

I had stayed at the Capri when I was 9 (39 years ago) with family. Presently, Me and my wife have been married for 28 years and have vacationed in Destin for 21 of those 28 years. This vacation was one of the best if not the best we have taken in Destin. The room was nice and clean, the bedroom and bed was well kept. But.....The bathroom in unit 117 was exceptional! Very very nicely remodeled, plenty of fresh towels and wash clothes. I was impressed indeed with the bathroom which is, in our opinion, the most important room when vacationing on the beach. Oh, the beach was as usual, FANTASTIC! Enjoyed the supplied beach chairs/unbrel. too! Nice and quiet, good staff and parking was great. Suggestions! Would like to see the electric gate fixed and bedroom blinds/curtains added to block the AM sun would be great, though it did get us out of bed and to the beach earlier(lol). See you next year!

We had a great time at the beach. This group of condos is not like
the fancier hotels and condo associations you see along the strip. It
is a taste of old Florida. So if you are looking for something super
fancy, with lots of amenities, this isn't your thing. BUT, if you are
looking for convenience and comfort, Capri is a wonderful place. I
loved the fact that we could step out the front door and be on the
beach in two seconds. No going through a lobby or crowds of
people. You are literally on the beach. It wasn't noisy and we had a
section of the beach to ourselves. We grilled hamburgers on the
grill in the common area. There were washers and dryers
convenient to our room. Plus we were minutes away from
restaurants and other activities in the Destin area.
This particular condo needs updating, like new bedspreads, fresh
paint colors, maybe a new couch. But it is totally comfortable. We

The room and view were great. Could not ask for a better palce to stay. Our two girls ages 6 and 2 loved the beach and the walk to it everyday. There were plenty of things to do around the area and the restaurants were really great. Thanks to all the management and staff, we paln to come back this May.
