The pictures do not do justice to this lovely home! My husband had a convention to attend at the Hilton and we wanted to bring the children and a nanny. The home was perfectly set up for all of us and we each got our own bedroom and it even came with a crib for our child. We loved that the outdoor closet came equipped with all the beach toys, chairs, etc. we could need.
We had a lovely bbq one evening out on the deck and our children spent many hours out there looking at the turtles and giving them names. I spent my early mornings going for a run on the resort. The views were breathtaking. There was a pool nearby as well as a few others close. The wharf had an awesome playground for our kids and fine dining for the adults. If we are ever back in Destin this will definitely be our location to stay.

My four older teen children and I had such a great time in this beautiful villa! We had ample room to gather together in the family room,on the deck and in dining room,as well as spreading out for private time in the 3 spacious bedrooms.
It was a friendly neighborhood with exceptionally well-kept landscaping and very peaceful.
We especially enjoyed the bikes we rented for the week and rode the many miles of bike trails daily as well as to the beach. The best was watching the beautiful sunsets over the Choctowhatchee Bay less than a mile from the villa. Awesome! My family has stayed in the Sandestin Resort area for 20 years,but this was by far our best stay in Marlene's villa! We will definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Marlene's house last week and had one of the best vacations of our lives. The house was extremely clean and provided plenty of room for the 5 of us. We loved sitting on the back deck listening to the water and watching all of the wildlife. My two children were enthralled. We also had never been to the Sandestine Resort. What an amazing resort! The Sandestin beaches reminded us so much of the beaches in Mexico. Simply beautiful! We hope to return next year and many more years to come. Thanks again Marlene for allowing us to stay at your beach house. We had a wonderful vacation!

Our family has stayed in this golf villa several times. It's perfect for us as we love golfing, fishing, beaching, and grilling. The evenings are so pleasant on the deck overlooking the 18th hole. We always look forward to escaping here with the all the comforts and hospitality of "home." We have stayed at several places within the resort. This is by far our favorite!

We had a wonderful time last week staying at your home. This was our second time staying there and our visit was as pleasant this time as the other. The best thing about your place is the quiet gated community. And the location is close to beach, pool and shopping and great eating places. We really enjoyed ourselves and are already planning on a trip next year to Destin and hope that your home is available.

Hi Marlene-
I was just checking email so thought I'd drop you a note to say we are having a great time. The place is perfect for us..plenty of room for sleeping and having a quick bite in the morning before we hit the beach. Last night we made shish-ka-bob on the grill in back. The ducks are such regulars at the kitchen sliding door, I am sure we will have named them by the time we leave. They are usually waiting for us when we wake up and when we return from the beach. They are promptly fed bread and seem content to go back in the pond. We love this side of the resort. It is quite and pleasant for our morning runs and sitting on the deck in the evening. All is well and we thank you.

Marlene - we stayed in your villa last summer and we are trying to pick a week this year where we will be able to come back. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful, as your home had everything we needed. The resort is beautiful and the entire family enjoyed it so very much. The villa was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. In reading your guest book on the mantle, I can see why so many come back year after year. We can't wait to get back ourselves.
