Description from the owner

Our spacious guestroom is situated in a quiet part of the historical centre of the charming city of Deventer, situated alongside a river. Our B&B; is on walking distance of all the highlights, shops and restaurants. The room has its own entrance and bathroom and our guests also have their own small patiogarden with table and chairs. On a warmer and sunny day just take your drinks outside and enjoy the green, the flowers and the buzzing of bees and maybe a visit from our cats too.

The room is decorated in harmonious and sunny colors, giving it a mediterranean impression.

The B&B; is situated on the groundfloor of an old warehouse...Read more

Great hospitality in a nice and quiet apartment!

Left on 10/02/2012 for a stay in September 2012

We really enjoyed our weekend in Deventer. The apartment is nice and spaceous with a good bed! A small corner of Deventer but close to the city centre it is unenexpectedly quiet. In the morning a delicious and complete breakfast with the only suggestion of another type of coffee. The hostess had a few good tips for our stay and hikes around Deventer.
      Thank you very much!

      Highest recommendation!!!

We can't say enough good things about our stay at the B&B; in Deventer. Our hosts, Yolande and Herman, were very welcoming and informative. The accommodations themselves are spacious, comfortable and beautifully appointed; large even by american standards. We especially enjoyed the private courtyard. The room is in the back of the building so it is very peaceful and away from any street noise. Within walking distance are parks, restaurants shops and the town square. Great pike paths in the countryside, too. This B&B; is the perfect retreat from which to enjoy our favorite town in the Netherlands. Can't wait to return.

This beautiful B&B; is situated in the historical centre of Deventer. The owner is warm and welcoming. The B&B; is clean and very spacious. The king size bed is excellent and the breakfast is superb!

I would recommend this B&B; to anyone.

      centraal gelegen en heerlijk rustig

Left on 09/05/2012 for a stay in August 2012

      Koffiepakhuys is a delight!

Left on 08/29/2012 for a stay in August 2012

My spouse and I stayed at a number of great B&Bs; during a two-week cycling holiday in the Netherlands. Koffiepakhuys was tops. A very intimate and comfortable lodging, in a beautifully restored building, with terrific hosts. My only regret is that we were not able to stay longer to enjoy Koffiepakhuys and explore Deventer more. If you have the chance to visit Deventer, do yourself a favor -- stay here, and spend several days.

Heerlijke ontvangst in de oude binnenstad van Deventer

Left on 08/29/2012 for a stay in February 2012

      Absolutely excellent - a gem

Left on 08/29/2012 for a stay in June 2012

The Koffiepakhuys B&B; - is an old coffee trader's house about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Deventer, and similarly close to the local park and riverside. Deventer is a lovely little town with some wonderful old buildings - particularly the square, which is buzzing in the evening. Sitting in the town square at one of the many cafes and bars, having a relaxed drink after a good meal and watching the world go by was a delight.
I really can't recommend this place highly enough. The accommodation is a large and spacious ground floor room, opening on to an enclosed patio/ terrace, plus bathroom. We had a very large double bed, sofa and easy chairs, dining table and a clever kitchenette. The accommodation is accessed through a large garage where there is space to leave a bike of two (we were on a cycling holiday, so this was important).
Yolande speaks excellent English and couldn't have been more helpful (without being intrusive) in talking us through the local maps and recommending routes, as well as recommending local restaurants and shopping - which were also excellent.
Breakfast is very 'continental' (ham, cheese etc) with very fresh bread bought that morning. I'm sure that we'll return here in the not too distant future.
