Perfect apt. Rooms are larger than they look online. Bright, airy, large windows. Even though it is on the ground floor, noise was never an issue. Slept great. Kitchen was well stocked. Beatrice met us as arranged, and was very helpful with all of our questions. The location is fantastic. You can walk to the historic center and most importantly Les Halles, the food market. It is not to be missed on the market days. The bakery two doors down, yum. The natural foods store three doors down has everything you might need. Dijon is a wonderful friendly city. Viviane and Xavier are quick to respond to emails. Professional and helpful .We can't wait to return to Burgundy.

We had a wonderful stay. The housing is identical to the pictures on the website. Decorated with taste and care.
The apartment is very well located in the heart of the city convenient and ideal. many bar and restaurant around and not far from the station 5 minutes just frame.

L'Appart was our home for October and November 2012. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very sad to leave. The apart for two people was spacious, light, airy and had everything that you needed. Even wifi internet and the use of the phone to make land calls to australia...thank you for this. Viviane & Xavier are fantastic hosts and I couldn't speak too highly of them. We were treated very well by them and hope to keep in touch. The L'Apart is situated in the old section of Dijon and is in a great location for walking either around Dijon, the station and canal. We miss the local produce market which operates 3 times a week. This market is fantastic as well as Monoprix the supermarket. You will not be disappointed with this accommodation or their new two bedroom one.

We stayed here for 2 nights, we were 2 couples. Great location a stones throw from Palais des Dukes, able to walk to all shopping and sites in 1 min. Very helpful concierge arrived to meet us. Loved the apt. as it was on 2 levels, with 2 full bathrooms. Immaculately cleaned, and lots of towels, very soft sheets, and very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. We just loved it, and will reccommend to friends and hopefully stay again one day.

We stayed for five days at 'L'Appart'. It is located in the historic heart of Dijon, making a perfect base to enjoy the historic buildings, museums, market and art galleries of Dijon, as well as a tour of the wine region. The apartment itself is roomy, immaculately clean and equipped with all you need. Being able to phone home to australia without charge was a wonderful bonus. We loved our stay here- five days went all too quickly!

Really enjoyed the four nights I spent here. The apartment is clean, comfortable and well-equipped, although some street noise is inevitable because of the location (ground floor, rooms front onto the street at the front, courtyard at the back). The flip-side is that everything is within easy walking distance: food markets, major sights, shops & restaurants, and a patisserie three or four doors away. It's also an easy day-trip to Beaune and/or the Bourgogne vineyards.

Thanks Dom for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed your 4 nights at L'Appart' as we do our best to keep the place nice and comfortable! Regarding the street noise, it's true that it can be sometimes a bit noisy, but luckily it doesn't happen very often as it's a one way and narrow street (and no traffic lights!). With the work of the tram in Dijon, more cars use this street but the good news is that it should be over before this summer (2012)! We will be very happy to welcome you back. Viviane

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans l'Appart'. Petit nid douillet au coeur de dijon, l'Appart est chaleureux, très confortable, idéalement équipé et très bien placé. Tout se fait à pied!
Aucun problème de stationnement, nous avons pu nous garer tous les soirs devant la porte!

We've spent a nice week-end in this lovely apartement.
Very well located, near shop and restaurants, we even avoid the use of the car for our whole stay.
The apartement has everything you need for a pleasant stay, even for a little girl of two, thanks to the loads of plastic dinosaurs and other toys in the cardboard. :) -

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment in Dijon. Viviane was very helpful with the booking. The apartment was clean & a great size for 2 adults and 1 teenager. The location was inside the old town & walking distance to plenty of resturants and attractions.
My only critism, is that the apartment is on the ground floor very close to the footpath, so you could see & hear people walking past. I'd suggest if you are a light sleeper to pack earplugs.
Otherwise it is a great place to stay.

Un appartement très bien conçu avec toutes les facilités imaginables. Même le téléphone gratuit vers les numéros fixes à l'étranger. On y dort très bien, la cuisine est super équipée, wi-fi sans aucune difficulté etc... Manque un peu de produits dans la sale de bain (shampoo) et le canapé du salon est vraiment trop mou, mais c'est à peu près tout ce qu'on peut améliorer à cet appart'.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4-day stay at 14 rue Pasteur. Kitchen and bath are well-equipped. I emailed to Vivianne that we (and other U.S. travelers in Europe I talk with) don't like the duvet (too hot, too heavy, and questionably hygenic when offerred without a flat sheet under it.). The bedroom was also suppled with a light blanket and some sheets, so we did fine, but she responded that she would add an additional top sheet to the linen closet.

This cosy apartment made a nice change from staying in hotels during our trip. It is in a good location (a bit of a walk from the train station in Dijon), but close to shops, restaurants, parks and supermarkets. The kitchen is well equipped and the apartment is clean and located amongst other residential apartments. It also felt secure and safe despite having street frontage. We enjoyed being able to relax and make it our home for the weekend.

I spent several wonderful days in this flat, and it was a welcome relief from the stress of travelling through France during strikes and riots. My train had been cancelled due to a strike and Viviane was helpful and understanding, making every offer to work around a potentially postponed arrival date. Luckily I was able to get to Dijon in spite of the rail strike. The flat is a generously sized one bedroom, elegantly furnished and thoughtfully appointed with all that one might need or want. There are ample towels, the bedding is luxurious, the bed very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. There are many tall windows, giving the space a luminous quality. Viviane has provided many guide books for the area and clear instructions for everything concerning the flat. I cooked several meals in the kitchen and everything is there that you might need to cook. There is a desk with an ethernet connection which provides fast reliable internet. You will not find a better location for exploring the city center. Everything I wanted to see was at most a pleasant 10 minute walk, and there are restaurants, shops, groceries and a bakery all nearby. It is located in a very scenic and beautiful part of the old city center of Dijon. Thanks again to Viviane, my generous host, for providing a space that feels like a real home. For a person who has been on the road for a long time, all the details were deeply appreciated. And a special thanks to Beatrice, who waited for me at the flat to let me in, even though my arrival was a moving target due to the strike. She was available in Viviane's place to answer all questions and give advice. Merci!

L'appart is one of the best furnished apartments I ever stayed!
I visited Dijon from CDG via Reims, Eperney, and Troyes using a rental car, but the access to the apartment is much easier than expected. There is an underground parking nearby the apartment and it costs approximately 5 euros for one night. The parking has a weekly fee, but I don't understand how to purchase the ticket as all explanations are written in French.
The location of the apartment is superb; all accessible in walking distances. The best supermarket is Monoprix, five minutes away from the apartment. Of course there is a big covered market, but it opens on only Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Only limited stores are open on other days.
All possible kitchen utensils are provided, including a coffee maker, a big oven, electronic stoves, a dish washer, two big Le Creusets. Table wares are fully furnished and you don't need to bring anything. There are plenty of basic seasonings so that you can save extra costs.
A bathroom is spotlessly clean and there is a washing machine, which is extremely useful for a long stay. A shower room has no bathtub, though.
A bedroom has a king size, comfortable bed. A sofa in the living room can be used as an extra bed, which is very large that can accommodate for two people.
All in all L'appart is a superb apartment and I will definitely come back again!

Die zentrale Lage ist der ideale ausgangspunkt um die Stadt zu erkunden. Im nahegelegenen Parkhaus ist das auto gut und preiswert (20 Euro pro Woche) abgestellt. Die Wohnungseinrichtung ist komfortabel, die ausstattung der Küche macht Lust auch mal selbst zu kochen. wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Overall a great stay. Good location within walking distance from everything (though everything is in Dijon), easy to get in and out of the city by car. Restaurants, sights all close by. Apartment well equipped, very comfortable, clean with high ceilings, hardwood floor, etc.. - very nice! Sufficiently large to have friends over for aperitif, Caretaker met us promptly, gave us keys, went over surrounding area, etc..
Would go again.

Die Wohnung befindet sich im Erdgeschoss eines mehrstöckigen Hauses, zur Straße hin gibt es durch Gitter geschützte alte Holzfenster, von innen kann man diese zusätzlich mit Holzläden verschließen. Dennoch bleibt es etwas laut und man hört die Passanten und Autos draußen auf der Straße. Wen das nicht stört, der ist hier gut beraten. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und v.a. die amerik. Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Sehr positiv zu erwähnen: Freundlichkeit und Service der Vermieterin. Parken ist vorm Haus zum ein- und ausladen mgl., für länger kann das Auto günstig in einem Parkhaus in der Nähe abgestellt werden.

L'appart is a lovely comfortable appartment that contains all you need for your stay. It is centrally located and within easy reach of shops and sites of interest. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Most restuarants were good value, we were particularly impressed with Le Rousseau which also caters for vegetarians (in addition to meat and fish eaters).
Although Dijon gives the impression of being small there is much to see and do there, in summer there are concerts and of course lovely walks to the parks and the 'beach'. The vineyards are easily accessible by train. At the end of your day the appartment is a comfortable place to return to and relax over a glass of wine! Both Viviane and Beatrice
are extremely helpful, and Beatrice is a great source of information.
This is a place we will definitely want to return to! -

After a short stay in Paris, L'appart was an absolute oasis and a great base for touring Dijon and the surrounding Burgundy region. Whilst we ate out in some of the numerous surrounding restaurants, it was a delight to purchase fantastic local produce from the fresh food market along with a good burgundy wine and cook up a feast in the well appointed kitchen. This was always followed by the evening stroll and the obligatory ice cream.
Even with 2 teenagers, the apartment was roomy and was a home away from home. Everything is within a short walk from the apartment - market, tourist office, restaurants, 2 supermarkets, fresh food market, cafe's etc. Whilst it was a delight to walk the cobblestone streets in the old centre, the Velodi bike share system (numerous bike stations dotted around the city centre) and the bike friendly city enabled us to discover even more of Dijon.
The welcome and advice on how to get the most out of our stay was a great start to our holiday.
Wish we could have stayed longer.

Our stay in Dijon was delightful. The apartment was a lovely little home away from home. Everything perfectly thought through to accomodate our needs. A warm welcoming feel the entire time we were there. We wanted to stay longer. I felt like we were staying with family Vivian was so hospitable.

Our apartment in Dijon was perfect. Vacations are
great, but this provided us with a vacation from the
vacation - time to prepare dinner at "home", take
care of laundry and best of all feel like we
actually lived there and not visiting. The location
could not have been better. Breakfast always
included fresh baked croissants from the patisserie
just steps away. Our car remained in a secure
parking place the entire time. Everything was
within walking distance!
The apartment was clean and spacious. The bed was
comfortable. The kitchen provided all the tools that
are needed to prepare any menu.
Best of all - we can not say enough about the
attention that we received from Mrs. Pelisson. She
was readily available for any assistance that we
needed. She was very gracious. -

An excellent apartment and super location,deli/ food shops just outside the front door, very well fitted kitchen and bathroom and lots of room.Secure parking station very close which suited us, also parking on the street.About 3 minute walk to free shuttle bus that took you all around the city or 10 minute walk to almost anywhere in the city.We had a really good holiday in Dijon, the food,a couple of wine tours of course,the markets and my wife found the shopping to be excellent(Visa phoned me to make sure our credit card hadn't been stolen)I would recommend this apartment and when we return it would be our only choice.

We had a fabulous time in Dijon and couldn't have been happier staying at
"L' appart'" of Mrs Pelisson. Viviane and Xavier are wonderful hosts and
went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we
needed.
Situated in the heart of old Dijon, located at groundfloor of a private
historic mansion , the apartment was spotlessly clean and fully contained.
The living room area and bedroom are very spacious and really cozy. The
kitchen is very nice and sunny and has a large dining table and all the
utensils you could ever want. The bathroom is pleasant and full equipped
too. All is new, elegant and warm and decorated with style and an eye for
the details.
With a major grocery store (Monoprix) just a 5 minute stroll from the
apartment, and plenty of restaurants all around, we never felt pressured to
prepare in advance for our daily requirements. .
We could not have been more comfortable or relaxing: truly like a home
away from home.
We will be too happy to come back again by any chance and will highly
recommend this place to our family and friends.
