San Ramon, CA, United StatesWonderful Beach Vacation
Left on 05/16/2013 for a stay in May 2013
We had an amazing time, Memories is perched high enough on the hillside to see all of Dillon Beach yet close enough to the beach for family fun. The views from EVERY window were breathtaking. The home was tastefully decorated, clean and had more amenities than we expected. The game room was even more impressive than we expected and our boys were in heaven. The swim-spa was the perfect way to relax and unwind after a day at the beach. The beds were very comfortable, it did look as though the home owners may be doing a bit of remodeling/renovating but it did not take away from the beauty of the home or the location and we can't wait to stay there again.

Trinidad, Colorado, United StatesGreat three generational getaway

This house was perfect for gathering our children and grandchildren for Easter. The house is great for kids and there is not much to worry about in terms of things that small hands can break. The pool was a great hit as was the game room. If you like to cook together the kitchen is too small and it could use more cooking bowls, but it is a wonderful house and we would definitely go back! John met us and was delightful and accommodating.

House has potential, but needs maintenance
Left on 04/08/2013 for a stay in April 2013
The overall experience was OK at best, but I was expecting more. The home has great views and a state of the art sound system, large hot tub and a fun game room, but the roof was leaking a tremendous amount. When we arrived, we were told that the roof was leaking and needed repair (so they are aware of it), but in the morning when we woke up, there were HUGE puddles in a few areas that we had to spend about 1 hour cleaning up. I was shocked how much water leaked into the house. Also, there were small misc. items that need repair that looks like have not been maintained i.e. towel racks broken off the walls and not repaired, etc. Another down side to this place was that in my opinion, there was WAY too much clean up required before we left. Again, we did not find this out until after it was booked. For example, we were expected to vacuum, make sure all dishes were washed & put away, take garbage out, pull sheets from the beds, etc. Cleaning the house is not my ideal activity for a vacation.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Memorie by the Sea. Fantastic views from every room. The kids (and adults) had so much fun in the game room and the huge swimming spa. We had a toddler with us who is very active and into everything. The house has lovely antiques and lots of stairs which made watching a two year old difficult. Kitchen is small but got by and had a great time.

Nevada City, CA, United StatesMemories by the Sea Review 1-2013
Left on 01/15/2013 for a stay in January 2013
This is a beautiful house in a great location. The view is amazing and panoramic. The house is great for a family with all ages to enjoy being low-key in any area of the house to big-fun in the game room. We had all kinds of weather, but mostly sunshine, during our stay. The property manager/home service caretaker (John) was notified of the areas of the house that need attention: serious leaking in the entryway/dining room area on rainy days; upon arrival, the breaker room door was off of the hinges and leaning against the wall...there is a very cold draft that comes through that door/breaker room; the floating spa chemical device was missing, so John had to regularly clean/treat the spa instead, and he was nice enough to take care of that. We left notes for John to pass along to the owners of the home. Thank you!

San Francisco, CA, United StatesGreat Memories at Memories by the Sea
Left on 01/02/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We rented this place for my husband's birthday and it was fantastic! We were able to comfortably sleep 9 people and two dogs. The house was well-furnished and had a well-equipped kitchen. The game room and the HUGE hot tub were fantastic and provided hours of entertainment for our group. My only concern was that we had extremely heavy rains during our stay and the roof was leaking a bit in the foyer and by the windows. I called the property management to let them know and they were already aware of the problem (they were very responsive and available, which I appreciated!). All in all, we had an awesome stay and would definitely come back again. Thanks for a great stay!

Left on 12/29/2012 for a stay in December 2012
A spacious house in a beautiful location with fabulous views of the ocean. The hot tub spa, game room and great collection of dvds provided alot of fun. The beach and surrounding area is georgous. On the down side, the kitchen was small but workable and the living room could use better lighting. It rained and the roof leaked alot in the entry way but it didn't damage our stuff so it was only a minor inconvience. All-in-all we had a great time!
