Longing for the mountains

My husband & I love coming to these condos, whether we are coming for an anniversary or bringing our grandson with us.
**My husband enjoys that he can walk right outside, & go fishing at the lake.
**I enjoy the shopping at the outlet stores 5 minutes away.
**Kids like biking on the path just outside that goes down near the dam. We can keep an eye on them the whole way.
**We look forward to walking down to the log cabin cafe for breakfast, & on summer weekends we enjoy walking to the ampitheater to listen to bands play & watching people dance.
**We stayed in unit #103, & it is beautifully decorated!! (It only has 1 bed in the bedroom though.) -

This was our third stay at Lake Dillon Condos, the first time at unit 103. It is a beautiful unit, with nice furniture and a well-stocked kitchen, decorated with a contemporary western theme. The view, of course is the best. I was worried that the view might not be as spectacular as when we stayed on the 2nd level, but it was still great. I probably still like the 2nd level just because you don't have people walking around immediately in your view, but if you're out and about, that really isn't a big problem. We did like the fact of not having to climb up stairs to get to the 2nd level, but with a new elevator being installed, that problem should be eliminated. If I had any criticism, it would be that the mattress probably needs to be replaced - but I happen to like a firm bed so others may like it just fine. As usual, Sandy was friendly and helpful with regard to recommending hikes or places to eat. We've checked out other places to stay in Dillon and Frisco, but you can't beat the location with the lake and mountains on one side, and with Dillon on the other side with stores and restaurants, without the hectic atmosphere of Frisco or Breckenridge. Although it rained most of the time that we were there, we managed to do the bike ride down from Vail pass, get a few hikes in (even with the hail storm), and played a lot of pool to get out of the rain. I would highly recommend this unit and Lake Dillon Condos.

The Condo was clean and attractively decorated. The appliances all appeared to be relatively new and were in excellent working order. The bed was comfortable and the water hot for good showers. Best of all was the wonderful view. We would highly recommend this property to other renters.
