      Fantastic place close to everything

Left on 04/03/2013 for a stay in March 2013

The cabin was perfect for our six night stay. Located within minutes of Keystone, Dillon, Silverthorne and Breckenridge, it was very convenient. Stocked well with all the items we needed and the private hot tub relaxed us after our ski days. We would stay here again!

We enjoyed this property for a month stay (2 years in a row).

Left on 03/15/2013 for a stay in February 2013

The property is well maintained and James is attentive to guests needs. The basket of goodies was not as well stocked as last year, but it's a small thing. Upgrades have been made which include fresh paint and possibly a new refrigerator. I really like how (when some guests arrived for a stay) the downstairs area provides great privacy and separation of space. Generally the kitchen as adequate supplies however I recommend that the baking pans should be replaced as they can not be cleaned adequately. I would also appreciate having a proper broiler pan. I did purchase a silicon type soft spatula. I would strongly recommend this home as a great location and a reasonable cost.

This was a great cabin. Lots of room and very clean. Close to all the shops and stores. A great location and well worth the price. My kids loved the floor plan with the spiral staircase. Some of the other reviews commented on the beds not being comfortable, however I did not find this to be the case. I had no trouble sleeping. We had a wonderful time and would pick this cabin again.

      Fun place to stay!

Left on 02/01/2012 for a stay in January 2012

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. It has eveything you need, and the location was great as we visited a couple different ski resorts. We stayed with some friends, and my husband and I used the master loft upstairs. The only advise I would give is to make sure you turn off the fireplace a whie before you are ready to go to bed, because the upstairs loft area captures all the heat and it was uncomfortable until it cooled down. I do agree with other reviewers that the beds are not that comfortable, but everything was clean and fresh. It was sure great to have the hot tub available; what a nice amenity! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again on another visit to the area.

      Great House in awesome Location

Left on 01/12/2012 for a stay in December 2011

This house was in a great location, very close to Keystone, and easy access to downtown Dillon. The bus stops very close to the house, making free transportation easy. The inside had plenty of sleeping space, though the spiral staircases were a bit small and only allowed one person up/down at a time.

Location is very close to nearby shopping areas. View from the main hall is breath taking and all the necessary amenities are in the house from Kitchen to bedroom. The very easy access from the car shed to the basement rooms makes life easy in winter.

Good Times in a mountain home.

Left on 12/01/2011 for a stay in November 2011

The house was very nice and clean. We loved the interior work especially the spiral stair case from one floor to the next (older people probable should know they are steep and tight). The only recommendation is the living room seating should increase. We had a few family members come out for Thanksgiving dinner and after dinner we all went to the living room to watch some TV. A "L" couch would really help the seating situation, or two additional recliners. Other than the seating situation in the main room the house was absolutely beautiful. Thanks for a great stay.

      Comfortable and priced right

Left on 10/16/2011 for a stay in September 2011

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and appointed with the essentials. Wireless was easy to use; tv was easy to use; location was good, but not great. There's not a lot of good eateries in Dillon, but Frisco is not too far away. The beds are ok, but we all (in our mid 30s) were glad we weren't sleeping on them for a third night. We cooked; we ate; we played a fun English-language game in the basement. Check-in and -out was fully self automated, leaving us all to wonder if we would have any unexpected surprises. I'd stay there again for another short-term visit.

      Very Nice Place

Left on 08/25/2011 for a stay in July 2011

My 8 year old son and I stayed in this home for a week during the summer (we were joined for the last two days by my fiance and his two boys). The first thing that was really cool was the staircase in the house...tricky, but really neat. We loved the log home and the only kitchen item I found was lacking was a cookie sheet. I made due with one of the pans provided though. We used the hot tub twice and it was nice. The only thing about it was the only access being throught the garage area; would have been much nicer to be able to access it from the deck. Though neighbors were close, it was still quiet and the view from the deck really pretty. We would return to this house again. It was wass kept, clean and had everything we needed.

      Nice house for the area

Left on 07/22/2011 for a stay in July 2011

We had a wonderful time on our recent vacation. The house was the perfect size for our family of 4 to enjoy the surrounding mountians. The beds were just mattresses on plywood so they were not the most comfortable, but they were not that bad either. It had a great view off the deck and out the large picture windows. It was located just a couple minutes south I-70, which made the traffic noise a little more than I would of liked, but made it easy to go places. The upkeep of the yard was a little to be desired also. We would probably not stay there again because of the "been there done that". But I would recommend it to others looking for a nice log home with a good view and close to everything.

Good lodging for a larger group. Everyone had their own space due to multi levels. Disadvantage in the fact that it is not located adjacent to bike/walking trails. Advantage in the fact that it is near restaurants and shopping.

Deer Path was a great family vacation for us, mom, dad and 3 teens. It was a bit pricey, but we stayed during your peak season, just after Christmas. The kids snow boarded and shopped and we all enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day!
