My family and I stayed here for a long weekend, what can I say I can't fault the house, the location, anything (only the weather). The house was only a five minute drive from Dingle town, and incredibly easy to find. The house itself was amazing inside, impeccably clean, and 5* rating. We will definitely be back for a stay.

Great property in a superb location. We were warm and toasty over the coldest of Easter weekends. The house is comfortable and well equipped and was spotlessly clean. A very inviting home and a great setting from which to explore some stunning scenery.

My wife and I and our two twelve-year old twins had a great time at the Glen Cottage. We couldn't believe how spacious it was with five bedrooms and five bathrooms, plus a big kitchen and large living room. The kids took the two bedrooms upstairs while we enjoyed the master bedroom downstairs. It's in a very peaceful setting with sheep as your neighbors! The drive into the village of Dingle and all it's wonderful shops and restaurants is only five minutes. Kathleen and Dermot were very friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this property highly enough!

Whe had an excellent stay at Glen Cottage, on the Dingle peninsula, about 6 kms from the nice town of Dingle. Mrs Caroll gave us a very warm welcome at the time of our arrival and explained everything we had to know about the heating and the house. We were only 7 but there's enough space for 10 persons to stay. All the bedrooms but one had their own bathroom, which was very nice and allowed everyone to have their privacy. There's a leaflet explaining how the appliances work and as concerns these appliances, there was absolutely everything we needed: washing machine and tumble drier, dish washer, iron, hair drier, coffee machine, kettle, oven etc...The house was very comfortable and extra clean. There's even an outdoor table where you can have breakfast or tea when the sun shows up while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of meadows and hills. We definitely recommend this house.

we stayed in glen cottage for a week in July, it is a beautiful home in a most spectacular location. The mountains make a lovely backdrop and the atmosphere is one of tranquility. The house is fully furnished and equipped to a very high standard and I would imagine it being equally as comfortable at any time of the year. Kathleen was most welcoming and simple touches such as tea/coffee and biscuits made a great difference on arrival after a long drive. Dingle is a great town with lots to offer, restaurants, entertainment, beeches, boat trips, surfing etc...

A fantastic view from all windows, an extremely generous and friendly house and a marvelous landscape. From the house nice walks can be made and the attractive small town of Dingle is not far. The only point of criticism is that the gas heating was sometimes a little loud.

We really loved our stay it was great to have the house as a base for our trips all over the dingle area.

Glen cottage is a lovely place to stay and is in excellent condition. The kitchen is very well equiped and the large dining table in the kitchen area is great for sit down meals. The lounge has a TV as well as a selection of board games, books and Dvds. The 5 bedrooms are very spacious and 4 of them are ensuite, which is a real bonus! Kathleen was very helpful when we arrived and left. The cottage is about a 5 minute drive from Dingle town, which is just enough to be feel you're away and in the countryside, but near enough to be convenient. The surroundings are beautiful with farm fields stretching out far and wide. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

We arrived after a long journey from Dublin to a very warm welcome from Kathleen.
The cottage was the best we have stayed in in Ireland and was ideal for our requirements.
We loved the large kitchen/diner where we would sit and plan our trips.
The bedrooms were very welcome at the end of a long day sightseeing and were very comfortable and warm.
We all thought the showers were excellent.
The property was nice and warm and felt like home from home.
We didn't want to leave.
Would definitely book this lovely cottage again.
I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

When we decided to make our first trip to Ireland late last year, we chose not to take a tour, but to rent a house and spend a week in one area. We located Glenn Cottage on-line and were able to reach the Carroll's quite easily. Arrangements were made by email and all went smoothly.
When we arrived at the house, the first thing I said to Kathleen was that the photos didn't do it justice! The house is set on a small country lane just outside of the town of Dingle, surrounded around pastures going up the mountain. We really enjoyed being surrounded by the farms, and (to all our delight) had two calves born out back during our stay.
The cottage was spotless, and very comfortable. The rooms were great, and easily accommodated the seven of us. We were very comfortable during our stay, and found it very easy to get into town, or out sightseeing from there.
I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Kathleen was a joy to deal with and given the opportunity would love to stay there again.Response from Kathleen Carroll - 08/28/2012

We (6 adaults,2 kids) stayed from the 31/07/-07/08/2010 in the Glen Cottage. The cottage was absolutely clean and we all had plenty of space in the 2 story house. All amenities are available. Cathleen, the landlady is a very nice and friendly person. Our coffee machine busted... next day we got a new one. The location of the cottage is class as well. Only 5KM away from Dingle town for shopping and night outs (plenty of taxis available). Many of possibilities for hiking and a couple of nice beaches. If we had to stay in Dingle again we'd definitely stay in Glen Cottage, thanks Cathleen.

Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Wochen im Glen Cottage.Frau Carroll war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. das Haus ist in einem fanatstischen Zustand ,sehr gepflegt und geräumig.
Einfach nur wohlfühlatmosphäre die wir dort empfunden haben.
