Description from the owner
Ocean View house has recently been built but it`s been carefully designed to blend into the landscape. The front of the house facing the Atlantic Ocean over looking the Blasket Islands is built with local indigenous stone.
The driveway sweeps around to the car park at the back of the house away from the views where the front door is located. You enter the house through a porch and then into the main hall. The hallway has an impressive hand crafted wrought Iron and wood staircase, oak floors and large velux window flooding the area with light.
The house is the ideal spot to get away from the hassle of day to day living.

New ZealandA very peaceful getaway with all mod cons!
Left on 03/22/2011 for a stay in July 2010
We stayed in this gorgeous house with our children during summer last year. We often come to the Dingle area but this was our first time staying in Dunquin. The views from this house are just beautiful - amazing sunsets from the living room.
The house is situated off the main road up a laneway. The location is in a very quiet and peaceful, you really feel like you've got the whole valley to yourself although there are a couple of other houses nearby. The kids loved having lots of room to run around - the house is really large and the gardens are huge too. Plus there's a small river next to the house that they managed to play around in. Great adventures!
The house itself is very comfortable and we had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time in the sun room which is next to the river - you can hear the water sitting there, really nice.
Overall I'd recommend this house for family groups as it's a really safe location for kids to roam around but it would be good for groups of friends etc. I guess. The only drawback was the midges which can be a pest in West Kerry - bring insect repelllent!Response from Des Ball - 03/23/2011
