Nearby: We are a 30-45 minute drive to great ski areas such as Tanglewood, Shawnee and Big Bear. Camelback, Mountain Creek, Alpine Mountain and Sno Mountain are only a one hour drive for ski enthusiasts. We are also a 15 minute drive from the Historic Milford township, a beautiful little town with world-class restaurants, such as the Delmonico Room at the Hotel Fauchère and the Muir House; as well as great shopping and national historic site Grey Towers. High Knob, one of the highest mountains in the Poconos is just a few minutes away, as is Bushkill Falls, Dingman's Falls, Kittatinny Canoes on the Delaware, Lake Wallenpaupack and numerous ski resorts, walking trails and other Pocono area attractions. The surrounding preserved lands and creek make for a very unique, secluded experience. This is a clean comfotable house with lots of windows. The deer roam freely behind the house especially in the morning. It has everything you could need including the washer and dryer. We enjoyed it very much.
The bed in the third bedroom is more suited to a young child, but there is a couch in the living room. The beds are comfortable and the linens are furnished
The only trouble we had is when we were refused entry into the gated community because we were told we had the wrong name for that address. We waited quite awhile before we could enter but that only happened one time.
We would stay there again.
