This semi-detached “upside-down” cottage is situated ten minutes' walk from the centre of the market town of Dolgellau and sleeps five people in two bedrooms. Penty is a lovely, comfortable cottage situated ten minutes' walk from the centre of the market town of Dolgellau, and enjoys views of the Cader Idris mountains. The cottage can sleep five people in two ground floor bedrooms, a twin and a family room with double and single beds, and also has a family bathroom. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Basically, it was as advertised. It was comfortable, spacious, well-equipped and clean. It was well located for hill walking, the town and supermarkets etc. There were spectacular autumn colours in the valleys throughout the area. Would certainly use it again if we ever go back to that area.

The cottage is located in a great location for exploring the Snowdonian Park and the coast line, it is well provided to cater for all needs and has wonderful views from the first floor lounge/ diner. The overall experience of this holiday was first class and the cottage comes highly recommended from this party.
