Petaluma, CAVery clean & comfortable
Left on 07/18/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We loved our stay at Bear Lodge. The home smells clean and was very comfortable. The kitchen is nicely equipped for upscale cooking. The only wish was a summer weight blanket in the master and a salad spinner. Pretty minor wish list.
We love the view and the deck. We look forward to next years visit. -

Pacific Grove, CABear Lodge is a very relaxing home to spend a very active week.
Left on 07/09/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Our stay at Bear Lodge was very relaxing. The home is very clean and spacious. Each member of our family of 5 (plus one friend)had enough room to themselves. However, every night we found ourselves all together on the couches in the great room playing games or watching movies by the fire. During the day we were busy hiking, biking, boating and sightseeing. Everyday was a new adventure and the home is perfectly located in the center of it all but quiet and private enough too. We enjoyed walking down to the private beach for a game of volleyball. Having a community pool was an added bonus we didn't use too much. However, we did enjoy the home's private hot tub with its view of the lake. We will remember Bear Lodge and hope to stay there again in the future.

Palo Alto, CAGreat weekend for a group of friends!
Left on 03/07/2012 for a stay in March 2012
I had a great stay with a group of 10 friends at this house. It was built in the 1960s but the appliances are new and decor is fairly recent. There's a great lake view off the back patio which you can see from the dining area and living room.

Allen, TXGood.. but not great.
Left on 03/07/2012 for a stay in February 2012
As a family, we have stayed at several properties in the Tahoe City area and this was our first time at Bear Lodge. In general, we had a great time and the property accommodated our family well. We were disappointed with the hot tub. It never got hot enough to really enjoy. I don't know if this was a product of the size of it or it's inability to hold heat. Other than that, no complaints.

Manager
Hi Blaine,
We are happy you enjoyed your stay. As for the hot tub, it sounds like it may have been inadvertently set to an "economy" or "sleep" mode. This can happen if you are unfamiliar with the tub and press the wrong buttons. In the future, please be sure to contact the office, if you experience ANY issues with one of our hot tubs. We are here 7 days/week. All of agents are versed in troubleshooting these issues.
Look forward to working with you again!

SF Bay AreaGreat house!
Left on 01/18/2012 for a stay in December 2011
We spent a week in this house during the winter break and had a wonderful time. The house is very clean and well decorated. Living room is very comfortable, open kitchen is modern and well equiped, bedrooms are comfortable and bathrooms are nice. Our children enjoyed playing with the games that were provided and we all enjoyed walking down to the beach every day. We would stay here again and would recommend this location to friends.

TahoeVery relaxing
Left on 01/04/2012 for a stay in December 2011
This home was perfect for our stay in tahoe. The cabin was very cozy and had a beautiful view of the lake. The hotub was amazing, though it was pretty close to the neighbors house and not very private. The owner provided a lot of amenities such as board games and extra kitchen supplies, the only suggestion would be to have a later checkout time as 10am seems pretty early. Overall we had a fantastic trip with the family and would recommend this lovely location for other families.

OaklandVery nice home in great location
Left on 10/27/2011 for a stay in October 2011
This house had a great separation of space and was clean and tastefully decorated. The only two drawbacks are that it (like many Tahoe homes) has a very neighborhood feel - the houses next door and behind you are only a few feet away. The other drawback is the placement of the hot tub, which feel very close to the neighbor's house. The kitchen was very nice.

Vacaville, CABoth refreshing and relaxing
Left on 07/13/2011 for a stay in July 2011
We have stayed at this same home prior and with 2 teenagers and a child of 9 along with another family we found the accomodations excellent because of the lay out of the home. The kids were able to have freedom and come and go to the beach, tennis, or the pool. It was nice to sit out on the deck during the evening and relax.

We had a great time. The house was well stocked with towels, nice bedding, kitchen equipment games, etc. The kids could play outside in back of the house away from the road. We would stay here again!

No complaints! Living space was very comfortable, open kitchen was very modern and perfect for cooking big meals, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were nice and recently renovated. Just off the main road into Tahoe City with a view of the lake, the value can't be beat. Would stay here again.

Tahoe getaways were very easy and pleasant to deal with. The kitchen was upgraded and very nice. The bedsrooms were private and comfortable. The view off the lake from the home was minimal, however, it worked for us. The pool and private beach areas were great and the clientle was respectful.
