Victoria Lodge lies within the heart of The Snowdonia National Park,a beautifully converted church that has retained many original features. Formerly St. Elizabeth's church which was built in 1884.Victoria Lodge offers luxury self catering accomodation for 6 people and is set behind a gated entrance in its own grounds.Centrally located within the friendly village of Dolwyddelan near to a well stocked shop, pub, hotel and train station.The property covers 3 floors and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, making it a perfect two family holiday home.

The property comprises:

Ground Floor:-

Large 25ft square kitchen with dining table.... Satellite TV with sky freeview. Feature windows, slate floor, Electric range cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. Large selection of glassware, crockery, utensils and equipment, tea towels, coffee, tea, sugar and a fully stocked household cupboard containing washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, foil, cling film etc.

Utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, ironing board, laundry basket and an additional toilet and handbasin.

Newly built conservatory with two large leather sofas, coffee tables, coat stand and shoe rack. Lovely far reaching views over forest and mountains.

King size bedroom with luxury bedding. Separate dressing room with wardrobes, mirrors and trouser press. An en-suite tiled bathroom with large walk-in shower, wc and wash hand basin, mirror and shaver point.

Original stone spiral staircase with vaulted ceiling and leaded windows which lead to:-

First floor Lounge:

The lounge is very spacious with a fabulous chandelier, oil paintings, 40 inch flat screen tv with dvd and video, sky freeview. Four comfortable leather sofas, coffee table, books and interactive games.

From the lounge you pass through double doors in to what was formerly the organ loft, now a stunning hallway with original leaded windows and vaulted ceiling with a chandelier.

The sitting room leads from the lounge into the original altar area with stained glass windows and where the elements were kept. Two winged chairs for relaxing, a games table and 6 chairs. A beautiful droplet chandelier is the finishing item for this wonderful room.

Open stairs lead to the top floor:-

A double bedroom with original stained glass feature windows and tremendous views over the village and the forest and mountains beyond.

A further double bedroom with wonderful views over Moel Siabod, the highest peak in the Moelwynion mountain range.

Luxury bedding and embroidered towels are supplied for your use.

The family bathroom comprises of a claw foot bath with shower. A separate shower cubicle, wc and wash hand basin. Vaulted ceiling. Complementary soap, shampoo and toilet rolls are provided.

Victoria Lodge lies within the heart of Snowdonia in the pretty village of Dolwyddelan at the foot of Moel Siabod.Situated in the Lledr Valley this property has loads of space and offers great walks from the doorstep.Dolwyddelan is reached via the ancient Crimea Pass through the mountains or through the Lledr valley with the Gwydr forest all around.Ideally located for walking, mountain biking, climbing, sightseeing and bird watching. There are slate mines and caverns, castles including Dolwyddelan, steam railways, National Trust properties including Bodnant Gardens, and Plas Newydd, waterfalls at nearby Swallow Falls and Conwy Falls. Beautiful beaches at Black Rock Sands a 30 minute drive away. Fishing is available locally on the River Lledr and horse riding and golf are within easy reach. 5 miles away is the popular Welsh town of Betws y coed and there you will find lots of gift shops and a choice of restaurants. Alternatively just relax and enjoy the peace and quite and stunning local scenery.

  We stayed here at the end of Feb 12 and had a great long weekend. The cottage definitely has the wow factor, everyone loved it. It was a 60th birthday present for my dad and he was equally impressed.
  
  The property is very spacious and appears to be part of an old church. That said, it has a real cosy feel to it as well. The views to the front and rear are superb as well. The owners have done a fantastic job with this property and were also very friendly in making sure everything was OK before we arrived.
  
  The local area is a quiet village, but easy access to pretty much any activity you might want to do in the Snowdonia area. We were lucky with the weather and the walk from the cottage up to the Castle late afternoon was superb with great views all around you. The local pub seemed friendly and was good for a pint or two. We also ate at the local restaurant in town, which was fairly good, but you met get better food towards Betws Coed.

  The perfect Snowdonian haven

  We cannot praise this beautiful property enough. The quality of the fixtures and fittings, bedroom washroom and kitchen facilities, going right down to the cooking and eating implements really were top notch.
  My wife Lisa and I have stayed in many holiday lets through very reputable letting agencies, including properties in Florida, The Cote D'Azure and The algarve, and in terms of quality, comfort and cleanliness, Victoria Lodge is right up there with the best properties we've stayed in. We had a fantastic time and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time we are visiting the area. As a foot note, Julie and Clive were also brilliant, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They should both be incredibly be proud of what they have achieved with the quite splendid Victoria Lodge.

  Stunningly Beautiful and the Best Holiday Lodge I Have Ever Stay

  Victoria Lodge is the most beautiful place I have ever had the pleasure of staying. It's breathtaking.!!! 'Luxury' is an understatement. As well as the stunning interior, the logde is as exceptional from the outside, gardens are extremely well kept and equally as beautiful. I was on holiday to walk and explore the surroundings and there was an abundance of literature and maps to help me choose different sites to venture. Julie and Clive were wonderful in helping me fulfil my walking holiday to it's fullest potential, pointing me in the right direction to explore and enjoy the superb surrounding countryside. The local villagers were extremely friendly and welcoming too. I would recommend Victoria Lodge 100% and will certainly be going back there again.

  We stay in various different cottages, in all parts of the country. But the standard of fit and finish of Victoria Lodge, is the best we've seen. It's in a beatiful location and provides everything you could need for a wonderfull visit to Snowdonia, with great walks from the doorstep and plenty of sites a short drive away.
  The property was spotless, the beds comfy and the conservatory was great for watching the wildlife from in warmth and comfort.
