lovley and warm and welcoming during some awful wet weather. The accomodation was great for 2 sharing families especially with the separate games room and large lounge and eating area.
There are some good local days out , we particularly enjoyed the down below mining trip but not a lot of nearby local shops or pubs.
Stunning location - well euipped - would definately return

The cottage was lovely - we stayed with another family and never once felt on top of each other. There was plenty of space and every possible thing you could need. The train passed occasionally but was not a problem with noise - it is only a small train and passes fairly slowly and also does not run at night. We took our dog and the enclosed garden was great for him to run in. The views are magnificent. I would definitely return to this cottage and have already recommended it to many of my friends.
Outstanding views and scenery, perfect holiday home with everyth

Absolutely everything about this holiday was perfect! The house, the views!, the location!. I especially loved the underfloor heating on the ground floor! Our two dogs particularly enjoyed the garden as they could run around and play (safely, as it is completely enclosed) to their hearts' content!
