You will wish your stay in this mountain jewel could be eternal-like the ancient panorama that surrounds you. Stained-glass windows and hand painted murals blend with the stones and other natural materials resulting in a comfortable interior all professionally decorated in alluring tropical colors. The grounds are a haven for all the creatures that also make this their playround. Each of the large bedrooms has it’s own veranda. A queen sized bed can be set up at night in the nook of the main area that allows the villa to comforably sleep 6 adults.

A gated entrance opens up to a spacious parking area and large covered parking area. A special feature includes a self-contained covered rancho (patio) a short walk from the main residence that also enjoys the same magnificent views looking south to the nearby Ballena National Park and the surrounding jungle that is teeming with all the natural abundance Costa Rica has to offer.

When you are ready to change your view from the ocean to the jungle, you can lounge on your bench swing which is located on the mountain side of the villa suspended at the edge of a large deck perched high off the ground near the trees. With 2,280 sf inside living space and a generous 2,315 sf of outside covered living space there is no end to enjoying the views that each special place throughout the estate has to offer. The villa was planned with a breakfast nook that captures most guests due to the coziness of the design. This was one of the most popular luxury rentals in the region several years ago when it was available to rent.

Just 8 Km north of Uvita and Ballena Marine National Park and only 40 minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park for a great day trip. If you are thinking of staying in Manuel Antonio, consider the privacy and uncrowded beaches Dominical offers plus Toucan Alley provides a third off the cost for you accommodations. Holidays are $3,000 a week (up to 6 people)
4/3 to 4/9 (nights)

10% discount for return guests and their friends / family
10% to 15% if your arrival date is within 20 days or less

Half due at time of reservation, remainder due 30 days before or bring remainder in cash
Minimum stay is 5 nights (you can stay a shorter period but it is at the 5 night rate)

  I really have to sit here and mustard the words to write this review... Not because it was a bad experience, but because was an experience of a lifetime. A year almost past from the time I made my reservation until the time we actually set foot on the house. After picking my car in San Jose (Service Car Rental) we drove to Dominical, not a bad drive for someone who never been there before, or driven in Central america, with a bit of delay in our hands we made it to the house a little over 7pm at night. Dave's direction were dead on to the last kilometer. If I was to advice someone about what time to get there I would have said get there with plenty of light, the drive up the unpaved road is better travel during the day, but after being there, and waking up there for the first time, both me and my newly wife's jaws drop. You are just not ready for the grandiose view that awaits you, and I don't only mean the ocean and mountains that surround the property, but the property itself. First day we were awaken by a family of Cara Blanca monkeys (Capuchin) and through out the week we were visited by different birds species and such. The second best thing about this property was the management, Dave and Stewart, took care of us like royalty. We had Chef Stewart cook for us in a private setting at the house, great food. Back to the house, this place has no bad view, anywhere you go or sit you will see something spectacular, if is not the ocean sceans or mountain scene, then it is the beautiful landscape that surrounds the house. I hope to spend every anniversary here, hopefully until I die... Thanks Dave...

  You'll feel like a rock star without paying rock star prices.

  Once you stock the fridge, you will not want to leave. Everything you need for a calm, luxurious, relaxing vacation is provided, from the fully equipped kitchen to the infinity pool, wi-fi, and Sky TV, and a covered yoga/observation deck below the house. Good Nikon binoculars are provided, and the bird and wildlife watching is great--howler monkeys, peccaries, pixotes, toucans, and parrots can all be spotted, and a basilsk lizard visited the pool one morning. Sunrises, sunsets, and incoming storms provide an ever-changing light show over the Pacific, and the long view of ocean cliffs down the coast is reminiscent of Big Sur. The elevation ensures cooling breezes, and the infinity pool just off the outdoor living area is a great place to cool off after a hike in the hills of Escaleras. Property managers Dave and Deb are warm and helpful, but respectful of your privacy. If you do want to venture out, you can go to one of many beaches in the area, to a local bar, or to a restaurant. In short, go!
