• LOCATION: About 3km south of Dominical on the south Pacific coast and a 45 minute drive to Manuel Antonio. The short journey down the unpaved track which makes a 4x4 vehicle nessary. When researching our trip to Costa Rica I found this place on the internet. The pictures were unbelievably beautiful and I thought that if the reality was even half as good it would be worth the cost. The reality lived up to the pictures and more. The views were incredible, and the breakfast each morning (we stayed 3 nights) was fantastic. I recommend that anyone reading this review make sure to check out their website and look at the pictures. They don't lie!
Birgit and her husband (the owners) were wonderful to us. It really was a perfect place.
The one thing I would mention, is that to get to their location one has to drive a fairly steep, winding dirt road up and down the mountain that takes about twenty minutes each way. The road was slightly scary the first time we did it (up or down) but by the second day we were used to it and it was fun. -

Very nice colonial house with an infinity pool. There were 3 other guests. The view from the pool is fantastic. You can hear birds and monkeys in the morning. The room is a decent size with a spacious bathroom and a big shower.
There is wifi, but in my room i could get it. It wasnt strong enough. -

Spent a couple of nights here in February and it was amazing! It's a little bit of a drive up the hill the get here, but well worth it with the fantastic views of the jungle, ocean, etc. We saw toucans in the mornings while eating breakfast and could hear howler monkeys, also. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer to enjoy more time out by the amazing pool area.
