The Villa Oceania is in the exclusive Sea Horse Ranch. It is a beautifully designed home with comfortable accomodations for 5-10 adults. The staff is amazing. Augustine anticipated our needs. Jaime seasoned everything perfectly. Elsa and Miguel kept the place so clean and washed for us too. Lucas and Ian were available everyday to take our suggestions and help us find services like a dive shop. The taxi driver, Rico was arranged by Ian and he was wonderful too. - Virginia J., ,

Not what we expected - Great for a girls/boys getaway

The villa itself was wonderful in an area filled with million dollar homes but our villa needed a major facelift. The staff was fabulous! We went on a family vacation with 3 boys ranging in age from 14 - 31. The area is safe with armed guards. Really nothing to do on the property for the kids. 1 restaurant on the property that was great and very scenic. Very small beach area which was disappointing. There are 2 towns within 5-10 minutes. But you really had to leave the property for any action. Not too many tourists either so if you really want to experience the Dominican lifestyle this is the place for you. If you are looking to be with tourists and meet people this is not the place for you. It would be a great place for a girls/boys getaway and you really wanted to just be together at the villa. We found it a bit restriciting because we also did not rent a car (recommended) so we didn\'t have much freedom. Drivers are crazy in the DR also. The trip was magnificent!!! The villa was beautiful! The location was perfect! It was EXACTLY what we were looking for. The weather cooperated with us every day. We had ample time to relax at the villa and ample time to participate in some activities outside of the villa. There was plenty to do. I can?t say enough about the staff at Villa Oceania (Augustine, Chef, Elsa, Miguel, Lucas and Juan). They were unbelievable. They attended to our every need, answered every question and were MORE THAN accommodating. Their attentiveness was just the right balance. They made us feel right at home and pampered us constantly. We didn\'t have a care in the world.

Our Stay at Villa Oceania

Great time! The staff, house and the process -- all suberb! The only slight negative is the home is located in a beautiful neighbor with gorgeous,pristine mansions. Oceania is a lovely home it however could use a bit of sprucing up. The home was clean and the staff was remarkable.
