Description from the owner
The self contained garden level gite has two large bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, a well equipped kitchen/diner and an outside dining and relaxing area with views across fields towards the beautiful bastide town of Domme. The property is situated at the end of a lane with just a few neighbours so the location is very peaceful but an adjacent footpath leads to Domme and is walkable in 15 minutes. It's an ideal base to explore the many attractions the Dordogne has to offer.
Please note, the availability calender only applies to the gite and not the B&B.;

this was our 3rd visit to see Glyn and Pam,we have previously visited with friends and their impressions were as favourable as ours. The house, the setting and the standard of accommodation are all first class. Glyn and Pam have decorated and furnished the house and gite to a very highest standards. The welcome we received was warm and friendly and they cannot do enough to help to ensure you have a great time in this stunning part of the world. The house is situated only a 15 minute walk from the beautiful bastide town of Domme ( which we walked to one evening for a meal) and is ideally situated for all activities within the the Dordogne. The house comprises of 2 beds for bed and breakfast and a 2 bedroom gite.Pam does offer to make evening meals for guests and I would thoroughly recommend these as they were as good as anything I've eaten in France and very reasonably priced. On a previous visit we were fortunate enough to be joined by some americans and we had a lovely evening dining and chatting over glasses of wine which were included with the meal. The house is at the end of a long lane and could be quite difficult to find but Glyn is always on hand to show you the way .I would thoroughly recommend visiting Glyn and Pam,book now to avoid disappointment.

My husband,2 boys and I stayed in the Gite for one week this summer. We arrived in a heatwave and the boys were very pleased to see the swimming pool and table tennis table. The accommodation was immaculate and stocked with all our requirements. The location was great with easy access to the beautiful Dordogne and walking distance to Domme - which has lovely restaurants and breathtaking views. Glyn and Pam were wonderful hosts who are very knowledgable of the area and the locals. We had a meal with them on our last night which was delicious - lovely to have a home cooked meal you did not have have to cook for yourself. There was nothing we did not like and we were sorry we only booked a week. We will definitely be back to enjoy France, the Dordogne and Pam & Glyn's hospitality.

We had a week at Les Jonquilles. Glyn and Pam were very friendly hosts. On our first night we dined in and Pam produced a lovely four course meal for Eu20 per head, including drinks. The gite has 2 ensuite bedrooms with a kitchen dining area in the middle and an eating/seating area on the terrace. The location was excellent being 20 minutes walk from Domme village while situated in a rural atmosphere. Although it is tucked away Glyn's directions were spot on and we found it without any problems. The gite was well eqipped and the only things we thought could have been provided in addition to what we had was a taoster and a hair drier. For a nice realxed stay in a beautiful part of France we would not hesitate to recommend Les Jonquilles.

Having not been to the Dordogne before I had a very pleasant surprise awaiting me.What picturesque part of the world. Cenac was a delightful rura location. My welcome at Les Jonquilles was very warm and Glyn and Pam were pleasant nosts,specialising in French breakfasts! The decor of the room was most tasteful and light with a stunning view across to the Bastide of Domme. The en suite was immaculate, the shower easy to operate and always warm. The things to do in the area were numerous, from quaint French markets to ancient dwellings half way up cliffs - all set along side the the fast flowing Dordogne river which wound its way flanked by numerous chateaux. So much to do - so little time! An excellent break.

We had a great stay at Les Jonquilles last summer. The location is excellent, being a short walk from Domme and only a few minutes drive from various river locations.
The accommodation was equally excellent. We stayed in the gite which was very well presented. The terrace was lovely for a warm summer evening.
Pam and Glyn were brilliant hosts and made us all feel welcome for the two weeks we were there.
I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful stay. -

Left on 04/03/2012 for a stay in April 2011
Pam & Glyn are the perfect hosts, making you feel welcome as soon as you arrive at their lovely Gite which is situated in the beautiful French countryside with a stunning view of Domme. It is delightfully presented and Pam and Glyn clearly have an eye for detail with their preparation and presentation. The location allowed us to enjoy lovely walks around the local area and absorb the atmosphere of the local French towns and villages. After a particularly long days walk we were glad of the opportunity to have Pam prepare our evening meal rather than cooking for ourselves or eating out. She has clearly absorbed the French culinary skills. A most relaxing holiday, just what we needed, thanks Pam & Glyn - see you next year.
