Wonderful house in a beautiful area

Left on 10/01/2012 for a stay in September 2012

As the previous reviewer said, a really well appointed and huge house in a lovely place. Perfect for a family holiday as ours was.

We were visiting our family and the kitchen was the perfect space for everyone to gather in the evening. They have everything you can need (although I would also have liked WiFi) to be comfortable and well fed!

We also had fantastic weather so spent several very happy days on the beach and walking in the hills. The photo I've added is the view at sunset from the bottom of the garden.

      Lindsay's Cottege - What a getaway!

Left on 09/14/2012 for a stay in August 2012

I spent the four weeks of august 2012 in Lindsay's Cottege with a colleague and had a wonderfully quiet and peaceful time - just what the doctor ordered!! The cottage is huge, and is the best appointed house I have stayed in in 20 years. It has everything the holidaymaker could want, imaculate bathrooms, and plenty of hot water, crisp linnen and a huge kitchen/dinner with an extra small tv and 3 piece suite. The whole house is kept spotlessly clean, as is the well appointed garden, with its huge lawn (my dog loved the garden) and an outside eating area and BBQ. As for thearea? Well a car is a must as the cottage is well off the beaten track, overlooking Inver Bay - beautiful. The owner Billy, was the perfect host and could not do enough to help out in anyway, he lived 100 meters away! As for the area, there is much to see and do in this part of Donegal, if you like beautiful countryside, you will not be disappointed, this part of Ireland is truly beautiul, with fantastic unspoiled beaches as well as stunning scenery.
The only thing that was missing was Wi-Fi, but that would have meant I'd have access to work, so was perhaps a blessing! I would strongly recomend this property to anyone, and I would use it again if I were to return to Donegal.
