      Perfekt!

Left on 03/07/2013 for a stay in March 2013

      Absolutely fabulous home and hosts

Left on 10/27/2011 for a stay in September 2011

We were in Doolin with family (three couples) and were very comfortable at the Gentian Cottage. Ann was very gracious and hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. The welcome basket of goodies was very much appreciated and allowed us to get acclimated before we had to do any grocery shopping.

The rural setting was a wonderful place for us to begin our visit to Ireland and my only regret was we didn't have longer to explore all there is to do in the region. The location is great for any exploration of that region of Ireland, from Galway to Shannon and all areas between.

The house was fabulous, with three bedrooms (all very comfortable), each with it's own bathroom, a washer and dryer, sunroom, and an open kitchen, dining, living room that made it easy to gather and visit during breakfast and in the evening. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for the meals we cooked at home.

I would highly recommend Gentian Cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, country home with hosts that pay attention to every little detail to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

A lovely, comfortable, and roomy place in a good location

Left on 06/01/2010 for a stay in April 2009

Eleven of us traveled over from New York and Boston areas to bring Dad's ashes over. Five of us stayed at the hotel, and six family members (ranging in age from 12-50) stayed at the cottage. It was located close to the hotel with nice views. The cottage was clean and and roomy, and contained pots and pans and dishes, etc to use for meals. We would definitely stay there again if the opportunity to travel over as a group arose. Ann was very kind and answered all of our questions - and she was available if we needed anything.

      BEST HOUSE IN IRELAND!

Left on 05/07/2010 for a stay in October 2009

My family stayed here for a week and the owner, Anne and her husband couldn't have been any better. We had some food stocked in the fridge, brought us peat to burn in the fireplace when we needed it and got a private tour of the castle ruins nearby. Anne is such a joy and the house is remarkable. Great view, lovely home and close to lots of remarkable things to see and do.

I can't wait to be able to go again and stay at the Genitian Cottage.

      Everything was perfect

Left on 05/06/2010 for a stay in August 2009

We loved our stay at Gentian Cottage. The house accommodated our family of
five perfectly and had everything we needed. We loved the area, and enjoyed
the peat fire after days spent exploring. The house was very clean and well-
maintained. We would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful stay - great location and great hosts

Left on 04/29/2010 for a stay in March 2009

We had a great stay at the Gentian Cottage in March 2009. We stayed for a week and toured the Burren and surrounding area. The home was comfortable and Ann and her family were great hosts - they even let us take a private tour of Ballinalacken Castle (which is on their property).

I've been to Ireland a couple of times and I would not hesitate to recommend the Gentian Cottage to anyone . . .
