This house is very comfortable for a large family, the owners was excellent and efficient with making reservations and were always available for anything that we needed while we were there. If you are looking for nightlife this is too far of a drive to get to that so you need to look for someplace closer to or in San Juan. There is a casino and an awesome japanese steakhouse within walking distance, the Bacardi factory is also very close and there is a ferry that takes you to San Juan that is also close to this area. The area is very clean and quiet. I would definitely recomment this house.

ZilinaGreat and spacious Villa in a middle of Golf area

I have stayed with my Family in Villa Dorado for one week and we have a great time. The house is in Dorado Golf resort and the surrounding is beautiful. The Villa itself is very specious and in good condition. We have used the provided grill and had good time in the patio, eating our dinner.
There is a public beach in a walking distance within the resort, but you can't really swim there. To fully enjoy the ocean you will have to drive to a variety of nearby beaches. (about 10-15 min. drive to the closest beaches).

(When rating this - it would not let me give it 5 stars...if I could have, I would have given it 5 stars for sure!)
My brother and I arranged a trip to Puerto Rico for my parents' 40th anniversary. There were 9 of us who stayed at the villa all ranging in age from 11-58. The villa was huge and allowed for everyone to have their own space. There was nothing that we needed at the villa that wasn't already provided. The book that Elizabeth left and the pictures in the cabinets were wonderful!! The villa is in a perfect location in Puerto Rico - the area was nice and we were able to get to places around the area very easily. We loved all the patios off of the bedrooms. We spent many mornings on the patios overlooking the golf course. The walk to the Embassy Suites beach and casino was very short...the casino was awesome - smoke free!! My son was able to meet a friend who lives in the villas and was able to play on the golf course which he loved. We all had a fabulous time. If I had a dollar for every time I heard my dad say - this villa is so cool, or awesome...I would be rich. He loved the architecture and arrangement of everything. Elizabeth was wonderful to work with - she was quick to answer my many questions and always gave thorough answers and also was a great resource and gave many great suggestions. Thank you Elizabeth for a wonderful place to stay!
