Lerryn Apartment is a first floor apartment, within the owner's house, on the outskirts of the village of Pimperne, 1.5 miles from the town of Blandford Forum. This apartment sleeps three people and has one double bedroom, as well as a family bathroom. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

We were welcomed by the owners and although they were on their way out they took time to show us around the appartment and made us feel welcome. The appartment itself was very comfortable and clean and was larger than I had expected. The people at the village shop were very obliging and kept a paper for us each morning. We walked every day as there is some lovely scenery round about.
The only downside was that we did not have control of the central heating and as our visit was in February we found the evenings a little chilly. However when we asked the owners they put the heating on for us and it was cosy once more.
There are wooden steps to reach the appartment which we in our sixties had no trouble with but anyone with mobility problems might have some difficulty. We were aware of the steps when booking -

very nice place clean and tidy everything you need lovely views . we took our dog jack and he loved all the great walks around there . owners were very friendly and helpful . hope to go back soon .

parking very difficult, small steep turning area, lots of cars in the way.
The first outside stairway access up to the apartment is made of twisting slabbing stones with no handrails or lighting, the second stairway and the one pictured in the apartment details is easier to negotiate. Heating and hotwater is controlled by the owner who lives in the attached property. There is a connecting door to the owners property within the apartment, the owner of the property holds the keys to this door. -

no privacy in the property, owner has free access through inter connecting door to her home, this door cannot be secured from the apartment. Owner comes into the apartment whilst guests are out and leaves notes of complaint.
Bedding for sofa beds is very old and tatty the duvets and sheets are stained , non of the bedding matches. Some crockery is chipped and cracked.
Access to the property from ground level is very steep and dangerous via outside stairways there are no hand rails on the first flight of steps up to the apartment. There is no lighting outside and when it is dark it is hazzardous finding your way up to the apartment. In the event of a fire involving the wooden the staircase there is no alternative exit from the apartment. The Lerryn apartment appears to be in breach of Health and Safety regulations.
During my time at this apartment only 2 towels were made available for the 3 people staying. The weather was very cold and miserable, the heating and hot water is controlled by the owner who switches it off at 0900 and puts it back on from 1800 to 2100hrs. There is only hot water available each morning for one person to shower. -

The cottage was very comfortable with all the amenities to make my stay enjoyable. The hosts were very friendly and helpfull and the location central to all the places I wanted to visit.

It was like living in luxury. Very well furnished and very comfortable. Everything you needed was there and spectacular views through the patio doors.
