We spent a fantastic week at the apartment, when we arrived we were greets and shown around the apartment and how to use all the "mod cons"
I was gobsmacked at how new everything was and the standard and presentation was exceptional!
After our trip we even had milk in the fridge to get a cuppie.
David and sue went to great lengths to ensure our comfort, and the apartment really did have everything you would need.
I tried to take the fancy shower home but it wouldn't fit in my suitcase, with massage jets and a sauna facility not to mention a seat! You really are spoilt!
We worked out the bus routes very quickly, and a lovely 10 minute walk had you at the bus stop and local shops.
We will return, I could find no faults everything was well thought through to ensure a trouble free stay.

The apartment was as promised, very well furnished and equipped.
The bed was comfortable and the pillows and bed linen luxurious.

Lovely appartment with all the mod cons. Fantastic views and easy to find.
Ten minutes walk to the grandstand and twenty minutes to the promenade.
There are local shops five minutes away or a tesco at the end of the sea front.
Would definitely recommend this place to stay and hope to go back again myself. -

The flat was just as described. Very clean and with all the comforts of home, the owners very friendly and helpful. I was aware of the folks downstairs and could hear conversation though not actual words. Luckily they were not night owls and somebody with a guitar played and sang lovely Beatles songs in the evenings.
A previous reviewer mentioned the shower and I agree. Too small (I am not skinny and had a tough time showering) and didn't care to use all the "bells and whistles" as I'm sure most people don't. You actually need the book of directions to find out how to use it. Ditto the combination washer/dryer which I also never got the hang of though that may have been just me and my love of big american appliances:) -

In this attractive and comfortable appartment there was everything you could want or need to spend a relaxing holiday or use as a base for an active one. The owners were friendly, warm and welcoming and would certainly stop again if we were ever to return to the Isle of Man

Looking for special accomodation to celebrate my partners 60th birthday we were not disappointed. It was home from home,extremely comfortable with every convenience you could wish for.
The only one small problem we encountered was the noise from the appartment above us. We had been asked to keep the level of the TV to an acceptable level which was no problem but their bathroom must have been above our bedroom because we could hear every detail of what went on in that room.
Other than that we were extremely pleased with the accomodation which was extremely good value for money. -

Lovely clean , upmarket flat - you can stay there without a car as I did however you will need to walk uphill quite a lot to get back to the flat - having a car would be useful with this flat.
Flat is a great place to stay for a couple or solo. -

This was our first time in the Isle of Man and we were looking forward to seeing the Island and meeting up with some old friends.
When we arrived at the flat the owner who lives next door to the accomodation was on hand to give us the keys show us around and generally made us feel welcolme.
The home is extremely well furnished and has every thing you need to have a comfortable visit. The location of the flat is off the beaten track and very peacefull with a great view. It is a short car ride away from town.
Sky TV in the flat was an unexpected bonus. The only small issue was with the shower, although high tech it is a bit on the small side - even for two small people !!

On this, our 2nd visit to IoM, we wanted a central point from which to explore the island, and aalin Thie was perfect. The flat is large, comfortably accomodated, with airy skylights and a lovely view across the Manx countryside. We enjoyed being able to prepare gourmet meals in the well-appointed kitchen. Quiet location, walking distance to the Promenade, friendly and helpful landlords. We're already planning our return visit!

The apartment had everything you could want for home away from home. Extremely well stocked kitchen, clean roomy bathroom & very comfy bed.
The bbq area came in handy for the sunny week we were there to enjoy a glass of wine (& perfect for smokers).
Plenty of room for parking too.
The apartment is a 30 min walk to Douglas seafront, so you might want to drive into town some nights. Or stay in and take advantage of the film channels & surround sound system. -

The service we received was brilliant. The apartment was first class, everything you could ever wish for. The apartment is within minutes drive from the ferry terminal, we found this great - no long drive looking for it!! We got the biggest wow factor going through the door and what we liked the least was leaving it behind!!!

We found the apartment to be like new, very clean, well equipped, and well sited for access to Douglas and to main roads for island touring. The owners were helpful, giving ideas on places to visit and where to eat. Any questions we had about appliance operation were answered quickly and concisely.
I/we wouldn't hesitate to recommend aalin Thie to friends and will most certainly reserve it again (in approximately five years) for another stay. -

We have just returned from our first stay at aalin Thie and it will not be our last. Every thing was first class, We have never stayed at a place with so much comfort especially the beds, the colour scheme and layout was excellent alot of thought has been put into this. The location is quiet although very central to everything and the views from the large window of the manx countryside was beautiful. Oh! I forgot to mention the warm welcome we received.

Very warm and friendly welcome. The apartment is situated up a small cul-de-sac away from the main road. It is finished to the highest standard, which includes everything you would need or want and immaculately clean. The owners live just next door, but let you get on with your holiday. They were there if you needed them.
Beautiful views from the window.
Just a short drive into the centre of Douglas and other towns. After a day of exploring we really enjoying going back to the comfortable apartment to relax and unwind.

A superbly well equipped self catering apartment. The location was ideal for local amenities, exploring the island and was very quiet with lovely views from our window. It was good to have plenty of room to park our vehicles & sit outside on the paved patio area. No expense was spared furnishing this apartment.
